I used to have huge insecurity problems (most girls do I guess, huh?). Sadly, I have always been told that I was fat, ugly, and would never amount to anything. This abuse came from teachers, peers, and even in my own home. I hated myself. Inside and out. All those lies brought me to harm myself physically. I was in the fourth grade when thoughts of cutting came to mind. By the grace of Our Living Jesus, I never took a razor to my wrist and made a scar. When God intervened in my life, the words He spoke to me were, “Micaella… You are beautiful.” Now, I believe I am beautiful me (I said that WAY before Selena Gomez did :P). I rarely wear makeup, and could really care less about what anyone else thinks. Sure, I have my moments, but I would say I am a confident woman in Christ. I love my freckles, my big brown eyes, and my thick eye brows that shade them (:
