More Proof in God to Tell Your Friends!

My belief in God goes so beyond faith.Β To me it’s a matter of simple rational thought. For instance, think about a camera lens. How it’s perfectly designed to capture images. Such a precise device required a designer to create it. Now think about your eyes…they are a much more complex version of a camera lens. Now think about a computer…a powerful and sophisticated machine able to process information at astounding rates. Yet a computer is but a simple device compared to your brain.

Why do we imagine that our perfectly designed eyes and brain did not require a designer, yet it’s so obvious to us that computers and camera lenses required a complex mind to create them? If someone suggested to you that they were just developed by coincidence, you would think they were an idiot. Now to think of your eyes and brain as random coincidence, that is a bigger leap of faith then toΒ KNOW they were created by an intelligent designer, i.e. God. You can use this analogy to tell people who have doubts about our creator and really open their eyes! πŸ™‚

um, how do you then explain evolution?

Evolutionary theory is only partially true. Species can make slight adaptations within themselves, but, natural selection is by NO MEANS a way to explain all the diversity and perfection of the thousands of species on earth. If the theory of all creatures coming from one common ancestor is true, the fossil record doesn’t show it. There are no “in-between” organisms shown in the fossil record.
As I said, there is evidence of, for example, beak sizes changing in birds, but not whole species turning into something with a completely different DNA makeup. Also, tests have proven that even if you have ALL the components of a cell already in a test tube in the PERFECT environment for life, there is NO WAY they could ever come together and become alive. The idea that life could just appear and then come alive, is absurd.

That is a new and interesting way to look at it! I enjoy it when someone finds a new analogy; it’s like it hits home all over again. πŸ˜€ Thanks so much. πŸ˜€

The way I see it, everything either comes down to random chance OR a higher power. I don’t know about everybody else, but I would much rather choose to believe that we are all here for a purpose than think that everything is just pure coincidence and randomness! I believe in God and I’m proud of it.

Does that mean I can also blame God for my bad eyesight? I think they should still be under warranty. πŸ˜‰
