On New Year’s Eve, more than 65,000 college-aged Christians gathered in Georgia to ring in the New Year.
Detering away from a typical college New Year’s party, these students, ages 18-25 rang in the New Year with their hands in the air, and their hearts praising God. Thousands upon thousands of young adults filled the Georgia Dome from December 31 to January 2, praying, singing, reading, and worshiping God alongside one another.

This year’s Passion Conference, which was founded and lead by Pastor Louie Giglio and his wife Shelley Giglio, includes students from 1,680 universities, all 50 states, and 81 international countries.
“We’re not simply keepers of the light, but we are carriers of the light of Jesus to the world,” Louie Giglio said during the conference. “One of the practical ways that we can carry that light to the world is to participate in the goal of Scripture translation. We’re launching a bold initiative at Passion 2020 in this new decade to Share Light.”
The first Passion Conference took place in 1997, and since then has grown immensely. The ministry has seen millions of students come through their doors, and hundreds of influential theologians and Christian speakers.
This year’s Passion Conference included speakers like Tim Tebow, Ravi Zacharias, Levi Lusko, Sadie Robertson, John Piper, Christine Caine, and many more. Christian music groups came from all around the world, with Hillsong United, Lecrae, Elevation Music, Crowder, Kari Jobe, and others in attendance.
