My Beauty Tip of the Day: Gorgeous Waves

To get pretty waves in your hair when you wake up, take a shower at night and braid your hair while it’s still damp (not wet) and secure it with a hair tie and go to bed.

This style works on all types of hair, whether it’s naturally curly or straight. Your hair is gorgeous just the way it is because God made it!

Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not be afraid, you are worth more than many sparrows (Luke 12:7).

Do you have any tips for pixie cut hair? I cut mine short because it looks nice without me doing anything fancy, but I’m curious if you have any advice?

I you can do it, french braiding works really well because it makes your hair wavy all the way to the roots! for tighter waves, part your hair like normal and do 2 separate french braids, and for looser, don’t part you hair and just do 1 french braid down the middle. It looks super cute! 🙂

I used to do this all the time when my hair was long! But now I cut it (and donated it) to locks of love, and it only goes down to my shoulders. I don’t know if I can still braid it :/

You can try smaller braids. That’ll probably work. You’re so generous to donate your hair by the way! (:

When I want to get tighter waves, I section my hair into two sections on either side and then into three sections each like normal braiding. Then, instead of braiding the three together, I further seperate each section into three and braid them and then braid all three braids on either side together. It can actually be really pretty if you do it neatly.
