My Beauty Tip of the Day: Long-Lasting Lipstick

To make your lipstick or lip gloss last longer, fill in your lips with a lip liner that matches your natural lip color. Wet ‘n’ Wild has an inexpensive one that’s a fairly neutral color, but I am so hooked on one by Makeup Forever in shade 14C. It’s really flattering with my skin tone, although it’s expensive, unfortunately.

Remember–what you put on your lips is nowhere near as important as what comes out of your mouth!  You can have the prettiest lip gloss in the world but if your words don’t have God’s love in them, it doesn’t matter!

Nicole Weider is a Salem, Oregon native who moved to Los Angeles and quickly found success as a fashion model at the age of 17. Today, Nicole is an active wife, mom, producer, actress and author and has made it her mission to share her personal story, the bright moments and the challenges, with young women around the world.

    1. i am 14 do you think it’s ok to wear natural colored makeup like light pink or light purple eyeshadow a little bit of natural colored blush and clear or skin matching colored lipgloss is that ok? i’m in eighth grade.

      • I Think you should try curled lashes, mascara and tight-lining (upper inner rim)your eyes with a eye liner pencil that compliments your natural eye color,(Such as purple for brown and green eyes, navy for blue and gray)or a natural eyeliner on your lash line before you get into colored shadow. If you want to wear eyeshadow, use a shimmery nude. (try wet’n wild’s walking on eggshells trio {$3}) the blush and lip gloss (If you don’t want to look made up try a tinted balm) definitely, oh yes. If you want more color try a colored mascara.(just remember that if you wear makeup every day, when you don’t people will be like, what happened to you?)
Haha I know your comment was for Nicole but I wanted to say something helpful… 😛

      • As long as you’re not getting to the point you look at yourself in the mirror and say “I look ugly without makeup!” and/or look like a totally different person when you put on makeup, then you’re gold! I’m 14 as well, and I don’t wear makeup unless I have a show choir competition. As long as it’s NATURAL looking and it only ENHANCES your looks, you should be good!

    2. i tried some lipstick today and i liked a light pink and a coral color!!! Nicole, you picture on here, you look like Britt Nicole!!!( shes a christian singer in case you didnt know!) haha love you!

    3. I use to never wear lipstick but now that Im 18 I do red lips 🙂 I like to color my lips in with red liner then use vaseline over my lips.Oh and a great tip for glowing skin is using vaseline as a lotion 🙂
