My Best Friend Nicole: Our Friendship Throughout The Years

Nicole and I have known each other for more than 10 years and have a strong friendship and bond. We both have gone through so many things together and are the best of friends. The Lord knew we were meant to be close friends and I am grateful for the years of memories and times we have shared together!

I remember first meeting her in high school–we both had an interest in the arts and theatre. We actually had a class together, even though she is a year older than me. This was totally a God-oriented placing because otherwise, we never may have met or been as close!

We sat next to each other and clicked right away! I learned about how she was from Oregon, she learned I was a Cali girl who was a cheerleader and singer. She loved modeling and acting and we both had similar interests. I told her to sit with my friends at lunch, and we have had many amazing memories together ever since.

Regarding our love for the entertainment industry–it is so funny, because we both entered a KIIS-FM contest one time: She entered modeling, I entered singing and we both won! We both supported each other and cheered each other on. Thankfully, our gifts are being used for God’s glory and we have grown and learned so much.

We definitely have experienced life, hardship, excitement, adventures and loss, but through it all we persevered and our friendship is so strong. She is like a sister to me, and we both have seen God do so many powerful things! I love when friends believe in and encourage each other.

Nicole has been so special to me and I love her zest for life! She is so sweet, loving, funny, unique, beautiful, caring, giving and is always looking to bless others. Another quality I appreciate about her is that she has always believed in me and my music, and cheered me on throughout college. She is such a great friend and has helped me believe in my dreams.

One of my favorite memories is Nicole and Eric’s wedding. Seeing Nicole so happy and such a beautiful bride touched my heart. Another favorite memory was seeing Nicole on JCTV and watching her blossom as a woman of God! I prayed so much and have seen God’s faithfulness in both of our lives.

Friends are like treasures and jewels. Special friendships are rare and are to be kept for a lifetime.

I am so grateful for Nicole’s support, love, compassion and being able to confide in and talk with her about anything in life! I love that I can pray with her, or we can share prayer requests and support one another.

PI girls, can you share a special memory with your best friend? What are some of the qualities you appreciate in them?!

I used to have a best friend. She was an atheist. I fell apart with that best friend. I still talk to her but we are not as close. But as time went on, I realized that my true best friend was Joy. She is truly blessed. And I am glad to share God with her! 🙂

My best friend’s name is Alyssa. I met her in Iowa where I lived for a year, and it was the best year of my life. Long story. 🙂

So, I have always been a Catholic. Before meeting Alyssa, though, I never really was a strong Christian; I never thought about it much. Then, after meeting her on November 29th, 2011 (she was my locker partner at our middle school), I started going to her youth group frequently during the summer, and when I didn’t have CCD at my church during the school year. I had a great time there, and made lots of great friends! One Wednesday at youth group, something amazing happened to me and it really strengthened my relationship with Jesus. I am so glad that God moved me to Iowa, even just for a year, because it really changed my life. Like I said, that was the best year of my life! I learned so much, like how God has a plan for all of us. I’d never really heard that before, but now that I know that, I can’t want to see what He has in store for Alyssa and I! 🙂

I love my girlfriend, Cassandra! She is an amazing girl! Together we are starting a Bible study for the younger girls in our private school! Cassie has an amazing singing voice, can talk to anyone, and is an awesome role model for younger Christian girls! I love her so much!!

About two years ago, I prayed for a best friend. And now in my Freshmen year of Highschool, God has answered my prayer! Just like he promised! 🙂 Just like you, she is one year older than me. We eat lunch together and talk about everything. She’s a very spiritually gifted Christians who sees and hears things directly from God. So, God often speaks to me through her. We’re so good for each other’s spiritual lives. I can’t wait for the years and memories to come! 😀

This is so AWESOME!!! I am still waiting for God to give me a best friend. I have numerous friendships, some which I need to break off because they are becoming unhealthy and others that are just starting to blossom(YAY!). Please pray that God will give me a true friend. Btw, Nicole and Christi you guys look almost the same way you looked in high school! Hehehe!

My best friend is definitely my older sister. She is two and a half years older than I am, but we’re really close in other ways. She helped me through a time when I was struggling, and I helped her through a time when she was struggling. We share thoughts, prayer requests, praises, and hardships with each other. I think it is really neat that we can be so close, and that we are not fighting all the time. I love her a lot, and I do not know what I would do without her! I love you Kharis!

Aww! I have a close friend. I met her about 5 years ago in Orchestra. We used to be the shy girls in the back with our heads down but now when we are together we are probably the loudest. I think God put us together because he knew we would benefit from each other. My bestie helped me to meet Jesus, and I helped her to stay faithful and strong. I think I would be totally lost if she was ever taken out of my life….

If you have a really really close friend, is it ok to be able to tell them anything? We were actually talking about this last night, and my mom said she had a friend like that and they told eachother everything. Then her friend told her that her father and grandfather abused her and told her also not to tell anyone. So my mom said its better not to have such a close friend because they can sometimes put you in situations like that… but sometimes i wish i had such a close friend…

That is a good question. The best thing to do in a situation like that is to ask God for wisdom and He will tell you what the right thing is to do. I believe you can have a close friend. Remember Naomi and Ruth in the bible? They were close friends and no one ever said friendships were perfect (accept the one with Jesus). 🙂

This is so sweet! My best friend Tori (Victoria) is the sweetest girl I’ve ever met. She’s 2 years older than me but we’re pretty much on the same maturity level 😛 She’s mentored me through so much and I’ve grown so much in Christ and in honoring others. If you read this, Tori, I love you! You’re amazing!

thats awesome! my friend victoria.. has been a strong Christian and inspired me to come to God! her family has been gracious and kind and has helped us out in tough times.. when i first moved to my neghborhood.. her family were the first ones to welcome my mom and i.. there needs to be more people like victoria in this world.. people who are inclusive, wise, kind, and never selfish… people who have humility and most of all loyalty!
