My Broken Palace: A Place of Refuge
Written by Christi Given | January 8, 2012
Need a place to open up and get your struggles off your chest? Looking for encouragement? There is a Christian website called My Broken Palace that is a place of refuge for many young adults.
On the site, you can post prayer requests and praise reports, and talk to someone if you need prayer right away. It also has a place to report abuse, and offers other resources if you need help.
My Broken Palace is a non-profit organization of passionate people who want to help others in their time of brokenness. Our shared desire is that no one should ever have to deal with the crushing weight of loneliness, depression, anxiety, stress, abuse, addictions, or thoughts of suicide alone. Become part of the movement. Whether you are the one in need or someone who desires to encourage others in theirs, My Broken Palace embraces your participation.
This ministry is powerful and helps you connect with others who have experienced similar trials and can relate to you. It is a place to share, uplift, pray, love and reach out. There are testimonial videos and a wall of prayers you can read and post on.
This site also sends a daily devotion through email and text messaging if you want to sign up. I receive the daily devotion via text message and it encourages me!
PI girls, is there something you’re struggling with you feel you can’t tell your parents or friends? Or is there something you feel ashamed, broken or hurt about? First and foremost, you can go to the King of Kings and ask Jesus for healing. But if you need to reach out to someone, My Broken Palace is a great avenue.
My Broken Palace also has a blog, an art wall if you want to be creative, and a store where you can purchase t-shirts and merchandise with the Broken Palace logos.
