My Favorite X Factor Contestant Melanie Amaro- And She’s a Proud Christian!

I have been watching x-factor since the beginning, and at first I didn’t really have any favorites. Then I watched tonight’s episode of X-Factor and Melanie Amaro, stepped on the stage and she blew everyone away! Her performance was breathtaking, powerful, and incredibly moving. Since this is Thanksgiving week, each contestant is thanking someone with their performance and Amaro chose to give thanks to God and give HIM all the credit! You could tell as she sang on stage she kept looking up at the ceiling, with her hands up high singing to our Lord. She is an amazing and inspiring woman, and her willingness to share the word of God with millions of people who watch the show is very powerful.

She sang a riveting performance of a song called ‘The World’s Greatest,’ backed by a full choir. Tonight she revealed her depth and soul, and showed her great appreciation of being there. She kept repeating how thankful she was to be there, and how God led her journey.

Amaro’s mentor Simon Cowell reminded the audience and the voting public that two people are going home tomorrow, and to make sure Melanie Amaro is not one of them.

Will you please vote for Melanie tonight by  calling– 1 855 843 9303 or you simple text VOTE to 9303!

    1. Thank you so very much for posting this info. I’ve spent the last hour or so looking for her number to vote and I could not find it. Then by the grace of God I come accross your site. Again, many thanks. Praise be to His name!

      • She gave all the credit to God for her ENTIRE life in the interview before her song. She spoke of how she had been shuffled from her grandmother’s home in the Virgin Islands and then back to her Mom’s in Florida many times thru her childhood.

She said that: “At one time or another everyone in her life has let her down in some way or another…but God has NEVER LET HER DOWN.”

She said that when she couldn’t get in touch with her Mother, Father or Grama or whoever…she could ALWAYS get alone and PRAY and talk to GOD and that he would help her and see her thru anything.

She said that God helped her when she moved from the Virgin Islands when she had such a strong accent to “fit in” in America.

Finally, she said in closing that she was singing this song because “God is the Greatest.”

I’ve never in my life seen a young lady or man step up so unashamedly and give total credit to the Lord for their life and also see so CLEARLY that the Lord with right there WITH her on the stage.

On a side note…I believe that the lady judge Nicole was so moved by the moving of the Holy Spirit (which I’m not sure she is used to seeing or maybe has ever seen in person) that the only thing she knew to do is asked for a hug….I believe that she just HAD to “touch” Melanie.

Perhaps, she thought in her mind that some of the Joy that she saw so obviously glowing all over her face from the INSIDE OUT would be something that she could accually “feel”.

This was a very Powerful Movement of
God. I just Pray that Melanie continue to give God the Glory as the Lord uses her in her life.

    2. So I LOVE X Factor. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE Melanie. She is such a great role model and I love that she thanked God! I think her song choice was so cool too. I like a lot of the contestants and I think they’re all very talented but she is like WAY talented and she loves God SO MUCH! 😀
