My Five Favorite Little Prayers

“I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11

My dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless. 1 Corinthians 15:58

Each and every time you do something that is for God, he rewards you. So don’t hesitate, and do right.

For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. 2 Chronicles 16:9

When you give your whole heart and soul to God, go ahead with courage in this world and by the power of God behind you, anything is possible.

    “Oh that you would bless me indeed, that you would expand my territory, that your hand be with me, and that you keep me from evil always.” 1 Chronicles 4:10

    I say this prayer every morning, got it from the book The Pray of Jabez. I recommend reading it!

    I really like the 2 Chronicles 16:9 prayer. When I read stuff like that in the bible, it fills me with the desire to pull closer to Him.

    I love those. I can say those throughout the day. Thanks a million Nicole!

    One that we all like is the Lord’s Prayer

    Our father, which art in Heavan, hallowed it be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done,on earth,as it is in Heavan, give us this day,our daily bread, forgive us our tresspasses as we forgive those who trustpast against us,lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for lies the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever and ever, Amen.

    I also thank him every night for what he through. The beatings, the embarassment, getting spit on,and most of all, dying on the cross for MY sins and the sins of the WORLD.Everytime I think about that, I can’t help but cry.

    These are all truly beautiful! I love the first one. I have my list, too (in no particular order)
    “A new command I give to you: love one another as I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this, everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another” John 13:34-35
    “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others. It is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.Love does not rejoice in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always hopes, always perseveres” Corinthians 13: 4-7
    “Any who love knowledge want to be told they are wrong. It is stupid to hate to be corrected” Proverbs 12: 1
    “Praise be to the LORD, for he has heard my cry for mercy. The LORD is my strength and my shield;
    my heart trusts in him, and I am helped.” Psalms 28: 6-7
    “The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25: 40
