Last year, I made my first New Year’s resolutions video. It was from photobooth on my computer, so it wasn’t the best quality. I explained that I wanted a website to inspire girls, and that came true in 2011!
I love setting goals because it’s something to keep you motivated! This is my advice: Write your goals down and share them with a friend, classmate, or teacher. That way you are accountable to someone else and more likely to achieve your goals! Also, set time limits such as “write and sing my song by March,” or “Run a mile under 9 minutes.”
Here is my list this year:
My 2010 resolutions for 2011:
Please take some time and reflect on what you would like to achieve and write your goal in a comment! I read every single one and I will be praying for you! God bless you girls, and I will talk to you all in 2012!
I LOVE HOW YOU CAN MAKE SNOWFLAKES FALL! Good ideas too, that just amazed me.
wait what do you mean?
It’s a feature YouTube has right now for the holidays, I guess. I just discovered it today too. When you’re playing the video, on the bottom bar that has the time and play/pause button and stuff, theres a snowflake. Click it and snowflakes fall!
There’s an effect on youtube right now that lets the video snow. There’s a little button on the bottom right corner of all the videos. It shaped like a snowflake, and when you press it, little snowflakes fall throught the video! It’s really cute! I think that’s what she meant.
When you are watching the youtube video at the bottom there is a little snowflake icon and if you click on it it “snows” I think that’s is what she means by snowing 🙂
oh interesting!
oh hey, my angel is showing up now. lol 😛
Great video Nicole! Those are all great New Year’s Resolutions! I love how humble you are! It’s so inspiring! 🙂
thanks Jessica you are so sweet! thank you for liking my video, please share it!

Happy New Year, everyone!!!! I want to convince some of my loved ones to accept Jesus, and to grow stronger in my faith, which has been struggling for several years. Also, I want to decide once and for all what denomination is right for me.

One of my goals is to be a better friend. I want my friends to know how much I truly care about them
I want to start keeping a constant dream journal:)
I did that for all of 2011, and many of my wishes came true! It’s a great way to keep yourself reminded of your goals!
Great video Nicole! I love your shirts in both, but I love the sparkly one the best. These videos will help a lot of girls.
thank you Paris!!
where will the magazines be sold?
at Barnes and Noble and other bookstores near you!
I love these, Nicole!! You make great resolutions, they’re very practical and reachable, which is important. I love making resolutions, so I update mine very often! These are some really good ones. I wish I could do some of yours, like going to Paris and Greece! Some of mine include getting better organized and trying to live a healthy/active lifestyle. One of mine last year (which I was late with and made in February) was to read the Bible through in a year. I’ve almost finished, so I’m very happy about that!! 😀
those are also great resolutions Jenna! You CAN and WILL do it!
Nicole, you inspire me so much! God is using you in such cool ways! I love how you had a dream for a website and a magazine and you are putting them into action and not just thinking about them! I hope I will be able to fulfill my dream by the time I am your age! My dream is to help girls who are going through depression or eating disorders. I want to be a Christian Counselor and help them. I hope you have a great new year!
God Bless,
Sarah 🙂

Well, I for one want to lose weight, about 25 pounds, just to be healthier and in better shape. I also want to finnish a book I’m writing, and start a blog on knitting, modest fashion, etc.
BTW, Nicole, LOVE your outfit in the video! also, I just noticed your last name change… congrats on your marrige, and I’m so happy you changed your last name- it’s a very traditional thing many women don’t do nowadays, and I find it so nice.
