Never Forget The Passion of our Christ

We all have dreams. We should all strive toward achieving dreams that are good, and we should inspire others to do the same. Sometimes however, we lose our way, looking to places like Hollywood for guidance or superstars as role models. We become lost in pop culture or Hollywood philosophies, and our dreams become skewed and diverted.

When striving toward our dreams, let’s not get lost in the superficial. Let’s not be tempted. Let’s not lose our way. Instead, let’s be reminded of the truth behind our dreams, the reason we’re here, and the direction in which we’re all going.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

The following video was created using clips from the movie, The Passion of the Christ. The music is by Brad Paisley and Sara Evans.

Look to it in times of joy and pain, when you feel lost, when you feel lonely, and whenever you question God’s love for you. When I watch this video, I am in awe of God’s love for us. I’m reminded of the sacrifice that He made by giving His only son. For our sake Jesus was crucified, suffered and died.

In everything you say and in everything you do, never forget The Passion, and always strive to be worthy of this sacrifice. It’s God’s proof that He loves you.

    God bless you.

    1. What a love God has for us! He would not have sent Jesus Christ to the cross if He did not! And Jesus is the most brave person I have ever heard of– to take on all of our sin so that we can all be with Our Father in Heaven one day… I’m speechless. My stomach is in knots because I have not realized the amazingness of what Christ did for us before. I knew what he did, of course, but I did not realize how extreme it was. Thank you Jesus for giving your life so I can have mine!

    2. I love this movie! It’s one of my favorites! I love how they got the language right nd I love the characters, especially the one who potrayed Jesus, it makes you actually think he is Jesus! They did such an amazing job! Other than that I just love what Jesus did, nd it makes me think if he didn’t than only God himself knows what the world would be like, it was hard to do but he did it anyway, nd he really didn’t have to…that’s why he deserves all the praise! 🙂

    3. Everytime I see this movie,I can’t believe that he went through all the pain of dying on the cross for me. When he was up there, all of the worlds sins were on his shoulders. I can’t imagine how many there are.

    4. I love this movie! Makes me cry every time to see our glorious Savior beaten, whipped, and hung on a cross! I do not deserve Christ’s gift, I thank him every day! Every crack of the whip sends shudders down my back! Praise Jesus!!!!! Amen! 😀 I love Him with all my heart!! Thank you, Jesus!! 😀

    5. This Movie Makes Me So Sad And Every Time I Watch It I Feel Like I’ve Cried A Whole Lifetime Worth Of Tears And Then Some . I Don’t Ever Want To Watch This Movie Again Because He Just Went Through So Much For Us . All That Pain And Look How We Still Act . It’s Like All His Suffering Was In Vain Because This World Is So Messed Up . I Will Forever Be Grateful For What He Sacrificed For Us . I Hope I Can Look At The World Through His Eyes And Love Everyone Just As Much As Him . !

    6. I cried during this clip. I didn’t when I saw the full-length movie for the first time. I don’t know if it was the music,b ut I cried and I wanted to hold Jesus and have him say to me “I am here. Why are you crying?” and comfort me. Thank you for this video and thank you for reminding me once again what price was paid for my salvation. Thank you Jesus. I Love You. <3 <3 <3
