Hi Project Inspired girls! As a lot of you know, I like to show you girls modest and cute outfits so you can gather inspiration from them, and recreate them yourself! I also believe that as Christian girls, we can dress cute without showing all our of skin! So here are my looks for the week. Let me know in the comments which one is your favorite, and which one you would like to try! 🙂
I bought this dress from the Limited. It’s not easy to find a nice white dress that’s not see-through! But this dress isn’t, and also the length is perfect. With white you can accessorize with any color!
I’m getting more into bright colors (spring is perfect for this!), so when I saw this cute striped skirt from Target, I loved it! The skirt is by Merona and my shirt is also from Target. My necklace is from the Limited, and my pink flats are from H&M.
I really love wearing pink in any shade, and you girls know me–I LOVE wearing dresses! I like this style with the pleats and how it flares out a little bit at the bottom, because it’s feminine without being sexy. I accessorized with purple earrings and shoes. My dress is from Nordstrom, my shoes are by Sam Edelman and my earrings are from Target.
White pants can be hard to pull off, but when you find the right fit for your body type (mine need to be stretchy, but thick!), they can look really classy for a nice spring day. (Also, with white you can wear any color!) Since again it’s white, it can’t be see-through! These pants are from the Limited. My yellow cardigan is from Target, my mint shirt is from Forever 21 and the accessories are from the Limited.
I really love peplum tops–in the winter I wore them in darker solid colors, but now they are making bright floral versions! This one is from H&M, and so are my pink flats, and guess what? They are only $7 right now! My shorts are from Loehmann’s, my earrings are from Forever 21 and my watch is by Michael Kors. My rule for shorts–I make sure they are longer than my arms when they are hanging down.
The way we dress should honor God, and not cause our brothers in Christ to stumble. This is a great reminder verse!
I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God (1 Timothy 2:9-10). This doesn’t mean we can’t wear pretty clothes or take care of ourselves- because after all our body is a temple for the Holy Spirit!
Which look was your favorite, and one that you would like to try soon? I love you girls, I’ll see you in my Nicole Live video chat!
