Hi, Project Inspired girls! As a lot of you know, I like to show you girls modest and cute outfits so you can gather inspiration from them and recreate them yourself. I also believe that as Christian girls, we can dress cute without showing all our of skin. So here are my looks for the week!
I started the week with a simple but modest black dress, and gave it a more summery feel with cute accessories! This dress is by Merona at Target, my pink flats are from H&M, and my pink jewelry is from Francesca’s.
My next dress is my favorite of the week because it’s so feminine and has a 1950s feel! I got this dress from piperlime.com, and the brand is called Pim+Larken. They make really pretty and modest dresses. My white flats are again from H&M (they sell really comfortable flats right now that are only $8!) and my white crossbody bag is from asos.com.
This next look has an effortless yet chic feel. I think a nice and comfortable white jean skirt is so versatile in the summer, because you can pair it with any color! I also love the trend of denim chambray shirts (the term for a jean shirt that is lightweight and has a “faded” look to it!).
I wanted to add a little color to this neutral outfit, so I paired it with light mint green. My shirt is from Nordstrom Rack, my skirt is from White House Black Market, my flats are from Forever 21 and my bag is from asos.com. If you buy a white jean skirt (or white shorts), make absolutely sure that the cotton is thick so it’s not see-through! Always put your hand underneath to see if you can see your skin color beneath the fabric.
I loved this mint bow dress, but unfortunately it was a little too short on me so I gave it away in my last Nicole Live video chat! Every one of my chats I give something cute away!
This NEXT purse I’m giving away this Friday, June 7th at 4pm pacific time in my Nicole Live video chat! This adorable red rose purse is perfect for summer, and will go with almost anything! I love the clean and chic look of a flowy blouse paired with white jeans. My top is from piperlime, my jeans are from the Limited, and my shoes are by Vince Camuto. A tip- I think it looks really cute to wear a pop of color on your shoes if you’re wearing white shorts or pants!
What could you see yourself wearing out of these looks? And will you join me this Friday? I love you girls! Register here to be in my live chat! xoxo Nicole
