Nicole’s Notes: My Affordable Looks of the Week…Featuring Fabulous Florals!

Hi, Project Inspired girls! As a lot of you know, I like to show you girls modest and cute outfits so you can gather inspiration from them and recreate them yourself. I also believe that as Christian girls, we can dress cute without showing all our of skin. So here are my looks for the week!

I absolutely love this dress I got from Target, because you girls know how much I love modest but feminine dresses! Since this dress already has stripes on it, I didn’t want to add a lot of accessories to compete with the pattern, so I kept them simple.

I got this red rose sweater from Forever 21, and it’s so cute for summer! Cardigans look great on everyone and are perfect when the weather gets a little cooler at night. I decided to pair them with jean Capris and white flats. Look how cute this random cat is behind me! She’s not ours, but she comes around our house all the time and I give her treats! Girls, do you wear cardigans?

My next look is I think my favorite of the week, because I love how bright this floral blouse is! I paired it with my favorite white denim pants from the Limited, a coral bag from Target and accessories from Francesca’s. I also tried to get creative and do a braid in my hair, but they can be tricky! I need practice. Do you know how to do braids in your hair?

My last look of the week is this white pleated dress I got from Nordstrom and I love it because it’s feminine, while still being comfortable! Who says you have to sacrifice for fashion? Not when you want to please God! 🙂

    1. You’re style radiates class, elegance, modesty, with a personal fun flair 🙂 you inspired me to buy white jeans and shorts! They go SO well with everything. My personal favorite this week is the 3rd! The braid pulls it all together well:)

    2. I wish I could pull off white jeans, but for some reason I can’t figure out, they make me look wayyy shorter than I already am and it’s not attractive in any way, shape, or form! Anyway, I love the dress in the first picture. So cute and it looks great on you! (:

      • It’s all about finding the right cut for your body type, but I agree since they’re white the choices are more limited! You are so kind, and I would love to see any outfits you put together! Just upload them to the PI facebook page! 🙂

    3. Just wanted to say that I love reading these articles! I really enjoy seeing cute, modest outfits that are actually affordable. I enjoy seeing how you put outfits together too – it gives me ideas on how to accessorize and put things together well.
