October Christian Worship and Pop Playlist

There is so much great new music being released right now, and I want to share with you some hot hits that are out and are on the top of the charts. The artists range from Blanca to Hollyn, KB, Anthem Lights and more. I pray that these songs inspire you to get closer to the Lord and that you are blessed.

1. Blanca, “Greater Is He”: Former Group 1 Crew singer Blanca, who is now a solo artist, has some new tracks like “Real Love” (no, not the Hillsong Young and Free track), but this song is pretty new and fresh. Check out “Greater Is He,” one of my favorite songs she sings. It is based on the verse in 1 John 4:4: You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.”

2. Anthem Lights featuring Sadie Robertson, “Just Be You”: This song is so awesome! Sadie Robertson from Duck Dynasty collaborates on the Anthem Lights track on identity and value. Robertson has a special message about her event “Live Original”—click here to learn more!

3. Hollyn, “Can’t Live Without”: If you don’t know this artist, she is on Toby Mac’s label and she is an awesome new artist. Definitely check her out! Click here to hear the song.

4. Jamie Grace, “Daughter of The King” (featuring Morgan Harper Nichols): This is a release from Jamie Grace’s new album, 91. Listen to the song here.

5. Beckah Shae, Remake of “Issues” by Julia Michaels: Check it out right here.

6. Jeremy Camp, “Word of Life”: This song comes off of Camp’s new album called The Answer. He is just so awesome! Camp just keeps releasing the hit worship songs. Which one is your favorite, PI Girls?

7. Tauren Wells, “Hills and Valleys”: Wells originally was in the Christian pop rock band Royal Taylor, and is now a solo artist. His song “Hills and Valleys” is so inspiring and encouraging because it reminds us that Jesus is with us no matter what season we are in.

8. Ryan Stevenson, “The Gospel”: This is a new artist I just discovered, but this song is so powerful and anointed. I just love this artist’s voice and the lyrics.

9. Tenth Avenue North, “I Have This Hope”: One of my favorite bands, Tenth Avenue North, released this official music video at the top of this year, but it is so powerful because it reminds us that if we are in the fire or in the storms of life, we know that God is Emmanuel and is always with us. I also love their song “Control.” Listen by clicking this link—it is about giving God our lives, worries and anxieties in life.

10. Newsboys, “Your Love Never Fails”: Newsboys is no stranger to the PI community, as our founder, Nicole Weider, loves this band so much! They have an amazing upbeat sound, but they also have very powerful and bold lyrics. This song was originally released by Jesus Culture and is probably familiar to you because Chris Quilala led this song years ago. This is a great remake, and is a great reminder that we may have pain in the night, but joy always comes in the morning. Remember that God loves you and His love NEVER fails!

PI Girls, what is your favorite song on the October playlist? And who is your favorite Christian artist or band?
