Many established designers showcased their new fall 2015 looks in February at the annual Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City. Designers from Marc Jacobs to Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren and Marchesa displayed their stunning collections.
More recently, the Milan Fashion Week just wrapped, with many inspiring designs and looks.
I’ve collected some of my favorite looks and trends that may inspire your wardrobe and give you ideas for the coming year.
Look #1: J. Crew’s Oversized Knitted Scarves and Metallic-Accented Tops
I love the line of work from this brand, and what they showcased in NY Fashion Week was a forecast of some of the new trends we’ll see becoming more of the norm for fall, such as oversized sweaters, pastels, metallics and furs. Much of this collection had a vintage vibe to it, too.

Look #2: Chunky Hair Pieces and Accessories
I love this beautiful hair piece and the floral details in the bun. Dolce & Gabbana showcased hair jewelry in Milan this past week, which is classy and looks like a modern brooch in the hair.

Look #3: Fringe, Fringe, Fringe!
I love fringe on purses, boots and even some clothing! Pictured below are Matthew Williamson’s fringe boots from NY Fashion Week, and also one of Glamour magazine’s favorites from the NY show!

Look #4: Tailored Pastel Coat
I love pastel colors, especially pale rose-pink. This color is big this coming fall and makes a statement of its own. The coat displayed in the photo below comes from Milan at the Prada Show.

Look #5: Ankle-Strap Heels
These Mulberry wooden-heel, closed-toe shoes were a Glamour favorite this year, which is not surprising. The shoes are stunning with spring-inspired pieces and fall as well. They go with an oversized pancho and pleated pants, or even a spring floral dress.

Look #6: Checks + Patterns
Proenza Schouler had some amazing pieces in the collection for spring 2015. This outfit came from Harper’s Bazaar magazine and was a top favorite from the runway show.

Look #7: Oversized Gray and White Coat
I love the slight checkered gray-and-white plush oversized coat from Mulberry with the perfectly matching gray strap heels. This picture is pristine.
Look #8: Metallics + Romantic Mix
Christopher Kane had a look in his collection that was soft and feminine, but still had a metallic feel to the skirt.
