“My whole image and my whole self-esteem and my identity was wrapped up in modeling. … [But] it’s really empty and it’s really not even reality,” — Nicole Weider.
The GPS Podcast (God. People. Stories.) is an outreach of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. In this week’s special feature, “Former Victoria’s Secret Model Finds Real Happiness and Peace”, our very own Nicole Weider shares her testimony from giving up her modeling industry career, to coming to Christ and becoming an actress and producer of faith-based projects.
“Nicole had accomplished a lot by her early twenties. She was a successful swimsuit model, appearing in magazines and a Victoria’s Secret commercial. But Nicole felt empty on the inside until she returned to her faith in Jesus Christ,” the Billy Graham Evangelical Association writes.
After giving up her modeling career, Nicole became an actress and producer of faith-based projects. She also helps younger women find their identity and purpose in their relationship with God.
It was back in 2010, that Weider founded Project Inspired. The initiative focuses on helping girls find their inner beauty and true purpose in Christ.
These days, part of her work is geared towards helping women deal with physical and emotional issues related to COVID-19. Nicole shares all about it on this new episode of GPS: God. People. Stories.
