Please Help Support Childhood Cancer Awareness

Project Inspired readers, did you know that every day in the United States, 41 children are told they have cancer? Cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in U.S. children under the age of 15, and there are more than 50,000 children being treated for cancer in hospitals at this very moment. Luckily, there’s a way YOU can help make a difference!

I recently received an email from one of the founders of a co-profit t company called Sevenly. They give away 30% of all their profits from their t-shirts to the cause they are helping! It’s an organization that raises money for different causes–one per week–and gains support by selling special t-shirts designed for each cause.

This week, each shirt purchased from Sevenly will provide a child suffering from cancer with a “JoyJar”–a jar stuffed with toys to help brighten their day. This week’s t-shirt bears the slogan “Never Give Up” in partnership with the Jessie Rees Foundation, created to fulfill cancer victim Jessica Joy Rees’s wish that every child with cancer was encouraged to never give up the fight.

Today you can help simply by sharing this message. You can also help by going to the website and purchasing the t-shirt to help bring joy to a cancer-stricken child. Most importantly, you can pray for all children with cancer.

PI readers, will you help bring joy to a child with cancer?

There is another organization called locks of love; you can donate money or your hair. A couple months ago I felt led to grow my hair out and cut it to donate it. That’s what I’m doing and I’m about halfway there, and I hope whoever my hair goes to that God is walking with them. I also hope that they didn’t need hair to be beautiful, they already where. My heart goes out to every child that has cancer <3

Lord, please bring peace to the children who are suffering from cancer. They are young, and so they deserve to live a enjoyable life. Let their families know that you are always there and your will is the best way. In Jesus name, amen.

(John 16:33)”I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

I followed Jessi’s Journey and continue to pray for the NEGU foundation and joy jars. She was a fighter and left a big legacy.
