Poll: Who Are Your Favorite Famous Females?

It’s fun to have favorite celebrities. Finding talent we admire gives us both something to look forward to (their new albums, movies, etc.) and something to aspire to (so long as they’re good role models). While there are popular stars that many of us like–hello, Taylor Swift!–we all likely have lesser-known favorites who we’ve found on our own, too. Maybe it’s a singer, an actress or a sports star, or something totally different, like a well-known blogger or model.

We want to hear about your favorite female stars (we’ll ask about guys soon!), why you love them and how you found out about them.

Answer the polls below then let us know more in the comments!

    1. I admire Ariel from the band Icon for Hire. She’s so sweet and talented in many areas. She has a really good voice and I love her lyrics. She also makes her own clothing and inspired me to learn how to sew. Now I love it. I like that she’s not afraid to express herself and speak out. Plus, she doesn’t pretend to be perfect.

    2. I don’t usually look up to celebrities, especially non-Christians. So often they are a bad influence and become trapped in the world. That is partly why I love this sight so much. Nicole is an encouragement and help to so many girls, including me. 🙂 I love music, I listen to music all day long! Some famous people I really like are barlowgirls, krystal meyers, (I don’t know if she is famous or not but her music has a beautiful message that often leads towards Christ!) Johnny diaz, superchick, Nicole Weider, and some authors. (Do they count?) Although if I listed all of the authors I looked up to this would be a REALLY long comment! I will say that Bryan Davis and Amanda L. Davis are in that list. 😀 Outside of the Christian world though, I have seen actresses that I think are nice. The only sad thing is most of them are deeply influenced by the world. They encourage teens to get thin, attract attention and other things that I do not particularly want in my life. Sure I think Jennifer Lawrence is cool, and a couple of other actors and actresses whose names I forget…but I will never be able to let them influence me in the way that my brothers and sisters in Christ do. (I’m really sorry this comment is probably way too long!!)

    3. Jennifer Lawrence is my favorite actress. 🙂 Although I don’t think she’s a Christian, she’s not your typical Hollywood star. She doesn’t obsess over being extremely skinny, and she’s not afraid to act goofy. She’s a hilarious and beautiful person! 😀

    4. I have a lot of favorite female celebrities, including Carrie Underwood, Britt Nicole and our own Nicole, but my favorite have to be Mary Cain and Sarah Baxter. They are two great teenage runners who are very down to earth. Even though Sarah has only lost one race in her high school career, and Mary has ran against professionals, they are still the same sweet, hard-working girls they were before the fame hit. I want to be able to run like them someday and would love to meet them!

    5. Amy Adams! She is so cute, and recently she swapped seats on an airplane with a soldier so that he could have her first-class seat. She did it secretly too, not drawing attention to herself.
