Poll: Who Are Your Favorite Famous Females?

It’s fun to have favorite celebrities. Finding talent we admire gives us both something to look forward to (their new albums, movies, etc.) and something to aspire to (so long as they’re good role models). While there are popular stars that many of us like–hello, Taylor Swift!–we all likely have lesser-known favorites who we’ve found on our own, too. Maybe it’s a singer, an actress or a sports star, or something totally different, like a well-known blogger or model.

We want to hear about your favorite female stars (we’ll ask about guys soon!), why you love them and how you found out about them.

Answer the polls below then let us know more in the comments!

    1. Gosh, there are so many things -now that I think about it- that disqualifies a person for a spot on my favorites list. But, I admire anyone who stands up for the rights of unborn and born children; male or female, as long as they hold beliefs in social conservatism. Furthermore, I admire Miss Nicole so much, she’s an amazing woman of God, and a definite light for Christ. Especially when women these days tend to lean towards an incorrect form of feminism. Another one on my list is a news-anchor named Megyn Kelly. She is a lawyer, and hosts a popular news program, all while caring for and loving two young children, with another on the way, along with her husband. She inspires me to believe that I can do anything, all while taking care of children. Since I am planning on having five or more when I get married. Oh yes, I almost forgot, and she’s a Roman Catholic. Another thing that props a woman up on my favorite celebrities list. If newscasters can be considered celebrities.

And of course, every blogger here on Project Inspired are wonderful as well! 🙂

    2. Emma Watson, Emma Stone, Jennifer Lawrence, Karen Gillan, and Hayley Williams are my current favourite celebs. Emma Watson & Stone are lovely, classy ladies. Jennifer Lawrence and Karen Gillan are beautifully hilarious and chill, and Hayley Williams is in an awesome band, is Christian, and has GREAT TATTOOS!! I love her “Shave Me!” and “Warped” tatts <3_<3

    3. I love Taylor Swift because she inspired me to write my own songs, that have helped me a lot. My role model though is a lady named Manon Rheaume. She became the first woman to play in the NHL (men’s pro hockey league) back in ’92. She’s 41 now but she’s still my role model!!! I really really want to meet her!

    4. Julie Andrews is a vision of class and talent. I absolutely adore her and only hope to gain her kind spirit and elegance!

I also love P!nk who seems to be opposite of Julie! She doesn’t take crap, empowers females, and has an amazing talent for singing and entertainment. Also, her love story is adorable. She and her husband divorced then she asked him to marry her again 🙂 so cute!

    5. One of my favorite ‘stars’ really isn’t all that famous. However, she is semi well known. Her name is Katy Maisano. She has a blog called ‘Happy Little Somethings’ that I really love. She also sings and plays several musical instruments. I like her not only because she has a wonderful voice, but she also is really unique, and I relate to her.

    6. Gwen Stefani, the lead singer of the ska-pop band No Doubt. All the way. She’s 43 right now. She is so talented, she inspires me to challenge myself and step out of my comfort zone, like her fashion sense that I model. 🙂 She is also the mother of 2 boys, an accomplishment in Hollywood. I’ve been a fan of hers since 6th grade, so, 8 years! YEAH! Gwen rocks! <3

    7. Gabby Douglas, because she gives all the glory to God and she is an inspiring Olympian! Britt Nicole, because her music is AMAZING. Nicole Weider, because her blog is the most inspiring thing on the internet. Nastia Liukin, because she is also an inspiring Olympian and because she’s from Texas (like me) and I got to meet her once! She is so sweet!

    8. Misty Edwards is my favorite singers. misty Edwards is most famous for The Rhythm Of The Lion Of The Tribe Of Judah…
One of my favorite’s is I Knew What I Was Getting Into.(beautiful) Lines:Cuz only I can see the end from the beginning.
And only I can see where this is going.
And only I can see the end from the beginning.
And I see in you the seeds of love.
And I see in you strength when all you see is your failure and all you feel is ashamed.
I can see deeper than that.
I know you better than that…
Misty Edwards is truly after God’s heart.
      She’s inspiring:D

    9. My favorite female is Nicole Weider! Nicole your an amazing role model. And project inspired is awesome! I greatly look forward to fridays because of your live video chats! Thanks for all you do!
      Mikayla

    10. Oh, and my favorite role model in is Nicole Weider! Jennifer Lawrence is my favorite actress and Britt Nicole is my favorite singer, but Nicole Weider is a really positive inspiration because of this wonderful website and her Godly tips. 🙂

    11. Gabby Douglas is one of my favoritr female stars. She wrote a Christian based book about her life! I love when celebrities are genuinely Chrsitian- like they don’t say it just for show.

    12. Jennifer Lawrence is definitely my role model. I get stopped in the street with people telling me I look just like her. She is the same height and weight as me and has the same body type. She’s a good person, with quotes about weight and insecure studd like that.

    13. I really like Jamie Grace. She’s so down to earth and you can really see her love for Jesus. Plus, I can really relate to her music 🙂

Anyone else ever heard of Angie Miller? She’s definitely my other favorite. She’s on American idol this season, and she’s totally the Colton Dixon of this year! She’s got an amazing voice and uses it to bring glory to God on television! She stays true to her faith, and she’s extremely pretty but still keeps it classy. She’s definitely one of my role models 🙂

    14. I’m a Jamie Grace fan. Her music is great, and she’s such an inspirational person. I love her whole story about being “God’s girl.” I can relate to her and I really like her!
I also like Jen, the drummer from Skillet. She is super talented!

    15. Angela Bassett is my favorite actress. She is so motivating! I loved many of her movies and hope to develop my gift like that. My fav line from her would be from the Jackson’s movie, “You’re liar! And you’re a cheat! And I don’t want you no more! Nooooo! I don’t want you! I don’t want you! I don’t want you! I don’t want you! I don’t want you no more”
I also love Ann Hathaway! So happy for her 1st Oscar! Yay!

    16. I honestly have no star I admire for their morals. If I like a star it’s for talent or the way the hold themselves.

Mine was Bette Davis, but I love a lot of the scarlets from the 30’s and 40’s. They were talented and glamorous.

    17. Demi Lovato!!! The way she has found who she is and stuck to it after all she’s been through. Her fashion choices can get alil immodest, but when she does dress modestly, my total inspiration. She has been my inpiration since she stepped on the scene with Camp Rock. Love her!!
