Question:
Do you have any advice on dealing with the bullies in my school?
Answer:
Recently, two teen girls tragically hung themselves as a result of bullying.
Girls, I know that when you stand up for your beliefs and don’t go with the crowd, people may want to pick on you. I am so proud of you for loving God and for wearing your faith on your sleeves, so I’ve written a few articles on how to handle bullies that I’d like for you to read!

I’m so glad that you put up this advocacy. Being bullied is hard, but it’s not the end. We have to keep telling girls that whatever happens and whatever anyone thinks, God thinks they’re precious and beautiful, and that God will avenge them.
Really love the encouragement you put up on your site! I hope girls everywhere read this!
thankyou gorgeous!!
The reason people bully is becuase they don’t feel good about themselves. Try to avoid them if you can,if that does not work, tell your parents and teachers.
(Romans 8:31)What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
(Psalm 27:1-3) The LORD is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid?
i know this is probably what everyone says, but just turn the other cheek and show them the love of God. God has called us to be persecuted for his sake, but our rewards are eternal. God wouldnt give you anything if He wasnt completely sure that you were strong enough to handle it 🙂 the best way to reach someone is to do the unexpected, which would be to reach out to them in love and not retaliate
I’ve been bullied all my life and I already have some advice (after having personal experience) for some girls on this site: Tell a trusted adult (Principal, teachers etc) Report the bullying to the principal repeatedly until the principal does something about it. And tell your parents and friends about it they might not understand it at first but if you tell them more each day soon they’ll understand and they will support you through your school years.
🙂 very true!
Hey Nicole, have you ever thought of putting up a forum for us girls? That way we could chat about our struggles and acomplishments in Christ? I think it would AWESOME if you added a forum! Just an idea for the future.
yes, this will happen in the near future!!
I have never been bullied, but im the kind of person some people judge before they really get to know me. People expect to be one of those snobby, popular mean girls in the movies, and im not mean or snobby. I dont let what other people say about me, whether its to my face or behind my back, get to me. I just remember God loves me excally the way I am and he made me the way i am for a reason. If they say something the only thing that is important is what I think of myself and what God thinks of me.
Thank you so much 4 posting this!!!!!! If someone says something mean or criticizes me 4 talking about God, this will really help me. You’re never too young to spread God’s message!! 🙂 (I’m only 11)
you are too cute!! good, go out and be a warrior for GOD!
Im bullied as well. But the thing is, its high school. Arent people supposed to mature? I mean, its kinda silly that people should make fun of me. Motivation= unknown…
this reminds me of a movie we watched at youth group. its called To Save A Life. best….movie……ever. and i know how it feels to be bullied. not fun. but i pray and it helps. 🙂
I saw that movie too! It was really good and inspiring!
Pressing on the center of your palms stops you from blushing. I read this in Seventeen, but I’m really not sure because I have a darker skin tone.
I rally like this article because it shows how just a little bit or a lot of bullying can result to serious issues, I really like this saying ” The girl you just called fat?…is overdosing on diet pills. The girl you just called ugly… She spends hours putting on makeup hopping people will like her. The boy you just tripped…he is abused enough at home. See that man with the ugly scars… He fought for his country. That guy you just made of for crying… His mother is dying. ” I really like that because it means you can never judge anyone
wow. i have to read those articles! ’cause theres a girl in my class who acts like she’s the queen or something!
