We love seeing which beauty and style trends you girls are trying out! When we aren’t connecting with you here on the PI site, we’re chatting with you on Facebook and Twitter and searching for fun “top 5” trends to share with you. One place to get style inspiration? Instagram! So every week, we pool our favorite style pics centered around a specific trend.
Up this week? PI Gals snapping fun selfies!
Kate wrote, “Bun decided to be messy today, but I loved it. And look how green my eyes are!” Looking good, girl!
Justice posted this pretty selfie with this great message: “I’m going to be the girl that the Lord wants to see. I’m not here to please the world or fit into it like a puzzle piece. I’m going to stand out and let others know that I’m here to please my king. Nobody in this world gave so much for me as he did. Nobody else took my sins upon their back. Nobody else caught me when I was falling down. Only Christ did all this for me. So I’m not ashamed to be seen as ‘different.’ I am different. We all are. God made us individually unique. I will behave as a woman of God. Not speaking words that I shouldn’t. Not thinking thoughts that I shouldn’t. Not doing things that I shouldn’t. Not dressing like I shouldn’t. But how am I going to accomplish all this since I’m not perfect? There’s no need to be perfect! All we need is God’s help, and remember, He IS perfect! It’s okay to ask God to help us live a Christian life. We can’t do it without his help. Ladies, it is possible to live a Godly life. It may be hard at first, but God will help you! God will transform you into the woman that he has made you to be. Be proud to be called a daughter of God! Don’t be afraid to be a God girl. Be wise, smile, keep your faith up, love as much as you can and never forget to praise God in all that you do!”
Mary posted this selfie from work, and said she was having a great day. Always awesome to see and hear!
Lizzy snapped this cute mirror pic featuring an awesome handbag!
Stephanie posted this sweet and happy selfie with an even sweeter message: “I am inspired by God’s grace. My middle name is Grace; but really, I’m not graceful at all. When I feel wronged or hurt, grace is the last characteristic I feel. But it is in times of feeling drained of grace when Christ shows it to me all the more. He pours unmerited (undeserved) favor on me all the time. When I am feeling weak, small, incapable and empty, I need only look to Christ. He fills me with grace for the purpose of my giving it up and letting go. When I let it out…He’s faithful to fill me again.”
