This week, I wanted to share a favorite song of mine, “Redeemer” by Nicole C. Mullen. It is so powerful and full of strong, inspiring lyrics for the soul. I LOVE THIS SONG!!! It makes me cry almost every time I hear it, I hope it blesses you!
I love the choir in the background, it really adds to the layering of the song vocally and in the ascension of the bridge. I definitely cannot sing it the way Mullen sings it, but I will try my own version! Here are some of my favorite lyrics:
“Who taught the sun
Where to stand in the morning
Who taught the ocean
You can only come this far
And who showed the moon
Where to hide till evening
Whose words alone can
Catch a falling star
…
I know my Redeemer lives
Yeah
The very same God
That spins things in orbit
Runs to the weary
The worn and the weak
And the same gentle hands
That hold me when I’m broken
They conquer death to bring me victory…”

PI girls, what is YOUR favorite part of the song? Don’t you love the lyrics?! So powerful!
Love this song 🙂
This is the last song my Aunt Amy sang before she passed away in a car accident. I was really close to her and miss her everyday. It seems that whenever my mom or I are having a stressful day or we just need to stop and calm down, this song comes on the radio and every time it does we picture her up in heaven laughing at whatever we are upset about.
