So how does your life change when you accept Jesus as your Lord?

One of the greatest blessings of choosing to follow Jesus is being able to rest in God’s unconditional love. You no longer need to prove yourself or feel unworthy. God loves you and He is FOR you! You find your identity in who God says you are.

“This I KNOW: God is for me.” Psalm 56:9

When you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, the gift of Holy Spirit is given you. You now have God’s power living in you. The Holy Spirit helps you have faith and compassion. It convicts you of right and wrong and gives you the power to resist temptation and make choices to glorify God.

As you continue to pray to God, spend time in His Word, and turn your heart towards God, the more you will desire to serve God with your life.

You will be filled with such joy and peace. Your heart will be overwhelmed by what God has done for you and you will desire to live for Jesus.

Throughout the Word, God promises to never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5), says He will be with us through all of life’s troubles (Joshua 1:9), assures us He will hear our prayers (Isaiah 65:24) and promises He will lead and guide us (Psalm 32:8, James 1:5) even through the desert seasons. These are promises we can stand on, promises which can enable us to praise God even when life is hard.⠀

I don’t know what challenges this season may have brought for you but I do know the character of the God Who is with you in the midst of it. I know He has you, I know He loves you, and I know He will grow you through it! Take heart, friend, and keep your eyes fixed on Him.⠀

If we were to begin to make a list of all the ways He’s shown us kindness, our list would never end. Sometimes in our lives we forget to notice isn't our human world so full of distractions.

He’s not going to force His kindness upon us. He whispers to your heart often but doesn’t turn off your phone or your TV so you will hear. Because He is kind, He gives us choice. So why not choose kindness today?

Where has He lifted your heart when you were down, where have you being shown compassion when you thought you deserved less? When has another person shown you a kindness? When we are kind to one another we are living as God intended and honoring the compassion and forgiveness shown to us by Jesus.

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” Ephesians 4:32

No one person’s calling is more important than another’s. It is important for us to discover and walk in our true God given purpose if we are to know the fullness of God’s freedom and experience His unfathomable love in our lives.

Today, many people are living in spiritual slavery without realizing it. They chase false gods of money, success and personal comfort—only to realize they still have an emptiness that can’t be filled by any of those things. We will never find fulfillment in comparing ourselves with others or trying to be like them or to have and own all of the material things we are told we should possess.

But the best news ever, is that faith in Jesus frees us.

In seeing ourselves through the eyes of God, and turning to him with humility and honesty we can be saved. We can live a life that is full of truth and purpose and we are made spiritually free in our faith.

God has a good, pleasing and perfect will for you (Romans 12:2) and part of that will is that each member of the body of Christ, the Church, be given a unique set of special gifts and talents to be used to the glory of God and the good of others.⠀

We deprive the Church when we try to be like someone else. The fact of the matter is that we need each other (and we need each other’s uniqueness!). The strength of the Body and our witness to the world is what is at stake here.⠀

The fact of the matter, is that the Body of Christ needs you – just as you are! Our ability to reach the lost world with the love, grace, truth and good news of Christ is dependent upon each member of Christ’s Body working together in the capacity intentionally given to each one.⠀

Instead, when he was burdened or in need of spiritual rest, he would take the time He needed to pray, plugging into the power, perception, and healing that can only be found in God’s presence.

Your worth surpasses all the material possessions and false images of the world, because in the eyes of God, you are loved and worthy. You are already enough and it doesn't matter if you are rich or poor, drive the latest car or have the newest shoes. Because beyond the noise of this world that is forever asking us to be more, buy more and show we have more... there is the greatness of God's love, that makes us see the truth. And the truth is you are made in God's image, and you are enough.

When we read about the women in the bible. Esther. Ruth. Martha. Mary. These women changed the world forever. And I want to remind you, that inside of you is woman with that same power to change the world.

You are unique. You are worthy of love. You are never too much, and you are always enough. You are a child of God.

No matter where you want to go, the answer does not change: the man or woman who walks with God always arrives at their destination.

If you walk with Jesus, you will always get to where you are supposed to go. Nothing in this world will help you fulfill God’s will for your life unless you walk with Him. God has designed our lives in such a way that the only way we will reach our true potential is if we do it with Him.

Only God knows our destination and how we are suppose to arrive at it. Allow Him to be the one who sets the course and leads the way.

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths" Proverbs 3:5-6,

God loves walking with us, he is a relational being and He wants to walk and talk with you, such is His great love for us. Ask today in your prayers for God to hold your hand and lead your way.

As this year comes to a close you might feel inund

As this year comes to a close you might feel inundated with messages that in the new year you have to be more, do more, make more, and be better in some way. There seem to be an endless amount of coaches, programs and webinars we should sign up for to be better and more successful. But guess what? Yes it’s nice to learn new things and improve, however the BEST coach and the best education, AND the best way to guarantee eternal life, (which honestly is the most important investment!) Is through trusting Jesus and becoming His child.

When you are near to Him, He makes a way where there is no way. He provides supernatural hope and peace that only Jesus can give. And HE knows what’s best for you and will guide your steps if you let Him. And the best part? It’s FREE because He LOVES to help His children and He loves when we rely completely on Him.

God already knows your heart. He knows everything you've been through before, and everything you may go through in your future.

The Bible says: “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand."

Move forward into the New Year strong in your faith, and if you haven’t yet decided to follow Jesus, if you follow Him in 2021 it will be the best decision you can ever make.

The more often we seek God through prayer, the more our emotions respond to the habit. The Christian walk is often a conscious choice to say “no” to our fleshly desires in order to draw near to God and hear His voice. While this is very difficult at first, it becomes progressively easier with time. What’s more, the reward of knowing God closely and personally cannot be measured!⠀

If you struggle to find the words to pray, open your Bible! Pray God’s truth to Him. These promises are yours in Christ! Many of the passages in Psalms are actually prayers. You can read these to the Lord and allow the truths of Scripture to sink into your heart while you do.⠀

The first purpose of your life is to be loved by God!

To understand your life’s purpose and calling, you have to begin with God’s nature and we know God is love, so that means to me, love is the essence of His nature. The reason you are alive is because God wanted to love you.

Think about that and what it means to accept God's love into your heart, mind and soul. Are you made new? Do you find the belonging here that you have longed for, for so long? What is born in you once you experience God's love, is it a purpose to give back?

Love is a response to love after all and once we can experience God's grace we become deeply motivated to serve Him and to find the best way on this earth that we, unique as we each are, can indeed help all his children experience this same Grace.
