Girls, with Valentine’s Day on the horizon, everyone is talking about love. But at Project Inspired, we know that love takes many forms–love for your family, love for your friends and (of course!) love for God!

We want to celebrate all types of love this month, so we decided to create an awesome PI playlist filled with love songs…but we need your help! Share your favorite love songs with us in the comments below by Friday, February 1. We’ll compile the playlist and share it with all of you girls so we can celebrate life’s loves together!

And, just for fun, we’re giving away $25 iTunes gift cards to four girls who share their favorite love songs with us. So put on your thinking caps and let us know your favorite love songs of any kind (for friends, for family, for GOD, or all of the above) in the comments below! We will choose the four winners on Friday, February 1!

Update: Congratulations to the four winners!

    Team Project Inspired
We here at Project Inspired want to guide and inspire teen girls to be true to themselves and to God. We want to show young girls how to be people of value and confidence – how to be your own best selves – through leading a Christian life. Who are we? We're a team of girls, like you. We edit the site, we post to social media, we hang out in the chat rooms and forums. We talk with you, we listen to you, and we love you!

    1. One of my favorite songs is”Summertime” by My Chemical Romance, and also “In your arms” by Shania Twain.
You and I, by Michael buble
Once upon a dream, sung by Emily Osment
Just a song a twilight, by Celtic Thunder sung by Damian Mcginty and Paul Byron 🙂

    2. Last First Kiss by One Direction! “I wanna be last, yeah, Baby let me be your, Let me be your last first kiss, I wanna be first, yeah
Wanna be the first to take it all the way like this, And if you, Only knew, I wanna be last yeah, Baby let me be your last, Your last first Kiss.” It reminds me that everyone has a basic desire for purity, as it says “I wanna be the *first* to take it all the way like this” and also “I wanna be your *last* first kiss” 🙂

    3. my favourite song is Alive again. Now, Im staying in Bozeman like exchange student and without my friedns and community, i felt that i was loosing my faith. Few days ago, when i was lying in bed and crying to God what i should do, i phone ringed so i took my phone and just check what is there, you know just was totally sad and so i found this song and i was listening it the whole night. And the lyrics have changed me. It was so beautiful, I was just staring at window outside and i was so thankful. I cant even describe it

    4. I love the song “My Girl’s Ex Boyfriend” by Relient K. Even though it’s not a traditional love song, it has a great message about valuing people while you have the chance and how we have value even when some people fail to see it.

    5. More Beautiful Than You Believe – Summertime’s End http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nNjPAlS8o10 These are some of the loveliest lyrics ever:

How could a girl so beautiful
Look at herself and not know it at all?
And how could someone loved so much in God’s eyes
Look at themselves and not realise that

You are more beautiful than you believe
You sparkle more than what this dark world sees
So when it feels like things are just too much to bear
      Don’t despair
I love you and we’ll get there

    6. My favorites are Into Your Arms by The Maine, Two Is Better Than One by Boys Like Girls, You And Me by Lifehouse, Fall For You by Secondhand Serenade and Hey There Delilah by Plain White T’s

    7. I know it is too late, but my love song is “You Love Me Anyway” by Sidewalk Prophets. This one verse is just so powerful:

“I am the thorn in your crown,
      But you love me anyway.
I am the sweat from your brow,
      But you love me anyway.
I am a nail in your wrist,
      But you love me anyway.
      I am Judas’s kiss,
      But you love me anyway.”

So powerful and so true, right?!
