    Team Project Inspired
We here at Project Inspired want to guide and inspire teen girls to be true to themselves and to God. We want to show young girls how to be people of value and confidence – how to be your own best selves – through leading a Christian life. Who are we? We're a team of girls, like you. We edit the site, we post to social media, we hang out in the chat rooms and forums. We talk with you, we listen to you, and we love you!

    1. This summer, I have a job and work almost every day. While all my friends are swimming, going to parks, and enjoying themselves, I’m working to pay for college…While they’re all buying cute clothes and getting tan, I’m flipping burgers and taking orders. That’s why my summer bucket list doesn’t have an activity on it, it has a goal. My goal is to be content. Instead of getting envious and angry that they’re having fun, I aim to congratulate and support them in everything they do.

    2. This summer, my goal is to have an impact on someone for Christ, even if it’s only one person! I want to strive to be a constant encouragement instead of tearing others down, be available if someone needs me, listen and respond to the needs of others, and always be willing to share the love of Christ.

    3. This summer I really want to get closer to God and read my Bible a lot more. I have been feeling distant lately and this Summer I want to get back on track, read my Bible more and just get closer to God.

    4. My bucket list is to get some real friends. I just moved and my old friends just kinda forgot about me. Therefore I have been doubting God and I don’t like it. I want to get closer to God and know that him moving my family is apart of his plan for us.
      Thanks for reading! <3

    5. This summer, I want to work on writing a Christian book. I’m only 16, so it’s going to be hard. I would love to write the book with details about the struggles in my life and other peoples lives as well, all in turn bringing us closer to God. 🙂

    6. My goal this summer is get back to my roots! I’m finding the country girl inside me by gardening, reading in the fresh-cut grass, doing lots of chores like hanging out wash, collecting eggs from our chickens, and mowing the lawn, spending less time on electronics, and instead making more precious memories with my family….whether its sitting around the dinner table with my fresh homemade rolls as we make jokes and laugh together, or working hard making some fresh strawberry jam as a group, I am already watching our family grow closer to each other and to GOD!! He is doing amazing things in our lives every day, and if we step back from the human rush for JUST A MOMENT, our eyes will be opened to all we’ve been missing because all the distraction of this world was in the way! I can’t wait to see all the great things that will unfold as a result of taking a step back and viewing life from a past perspective 🙂 MAY GOD BLESS THIS SUMMER!

    7. My number one thing on my bucket list for this summer, is to get out of my comfort zone. As a child of God, my life should be devoted to helping people, and introducing them to God! My goal is to pray more that God will lead me in all that I do, and that he will help me get out of my little box, make friends, and make the most of this beautiful life!

    8. The biggest thing on my bucket list is to honestly keep clean from cutting the entire summer. I’m five weeks clean right now, and I’m planning to go farther!! (: I’d really appreciate everybody’s prayers! <3

    9. My #1 bucket list thing for the summer is to get my school to become a project unified school along with another school close to us.This means that special needs kids and mainstream kids play sports after school together, only, I’m going to make it a bible study to since my school and the other school are both christian schools. Wish me luck guys:) I want this more than anything!!!!

    10. My #1 thing on my bucket list this summer is to reach out to others and bless them in some sort of way. Ever since I was young girl, I have always been more of a shy person. Since I have now gone through my freshman year of high school, I am now a more outgoing person and I feel that God has laid it on my heart to reach out to others and get out of my comfort zone.

    11. My #1 Bucket List Item this summer is to pray every night for a whole year. Then I’ll be in the habit of doing it. I love how prayer makes me feel after a long day in the summer heat. Plus, it’s never too late, to give God praise and thanks for all he’s done for us!

    12. My #1 bucket list item this summer is to get back into the habit of having daily devotions. It’s been a long time since I’ve had them everyday, and I need to begin doing so again in order to help grow my relationship with God. 🙂

    13. The top of my summer bucket list for this year is definitely different than I thought it would be. I would have said something like trips, helping with VBS and youth camps, maybe going to Six flags 🙂 , but God had a different plan. My number one on my bucket list is to use my empty summer to have tons quality time with God and my family. I can’t do much because I’m recovering from a concussion right now, but I hope that I don’t use this a wasted summer but one where I really grew in my relationships with family and The Lord.

    14. My number one thing to do this summer is to make a difference in people’s lives as much as I possibly can. God has given me opportunities to serve in my church with children by leading a pre-K/Kindergarten VBS session and by teaching kids on Wednesday nights. He has also placed people in my life that I can minister to, encourage, and bring to their remembrance that God, in His sovereign will, has a plan for them. Since all of these things require a certain amount of boldness and confidence, I am so grateful to God for helping me overcome my shyness. I just turned fourteen this month, and I am amazed at how much I have grown closer to Jesus in this past year, and how many times He has proved to be faithful. Even though reaching out to others is way out of my comfort zone, I hope that my love for Christ will overpower my thoughts of fear or discouragement and allow me to be the person that God uses to make a great impact on everyone I interact with…this summer and for the rest of my life.
      Your Sister in Christ,
P.S. Prayer would be great…so if y’all could just do that for me that’d be absolutely wonderful!! 😀 Thanks!!

    15. My number one thing to do this summer is to make an impact on the youth in my church. My youth pastors have done so much for me by motivating me and giving me the tools necessary to build a strong relationship with Christ, and I just want to do the same for others. This summer will be my last summer in my churches youth group, and I will be joining the young adults group. So in my last few months, I want to inspire the girls just like my youth pastors did for me. I want to just show them this never ending love that God has for us!

    16. The number 1 thing on my bucket list is to have my younger brother home by the end of the summer. He is ten years old and has severe special needs. Right now he is living in a group home up in Georgia where he is getting the help he needs however I would really like to have him back by the time school starts. 🙂

    17. The #1 thing on my bucket list is probably either to visit all of the children’s hospital in Ohio (where I live) and visit sick kids to brighten their days, or to go on a mission trip out of the country. I’ve already got my out of state mission trip, so I’m hoping to go somewhere international somewhere in my future!! 🙂

    18. my No 1 bucket list is to STOP working 7 days a week and to go and spend summer nights out in the navajo reservations with a micro bus… tent. with my closest friends and to do mission work. I love being out in nature, I never get to travel much but i am desperate to see what summer nights look like in each state. God makes so many beautiful things, i just want to adore His work.

    19. The number 1 thing on my bucket list is just to make a difference in someone’s life through volunteering in some way, because I realize how fortunate I am and would love to give back somehow.

    20. The number 1 thing on my summer bucket list would be to learn new songs on keyboard for youth group. We are a new group and very small (8 people) but I know we will grow. Our youth leader can’t wait to start using live music instead of cd’s! I want to learn at least 12 by the end of the summer.

    21. My summer bucket list number one item is sharing my testimony to little kids in am orphanage in Battambang, Cambodia when we go for our YWAM summer program trip. Also, that we can dance in the red light district in Cambodia. Those are tied for first on my list.

    22. The No.1 thing on my summer 2014 bucket list is to build relationships within the community of Tecate, Mexico. I am in Tecate for two months on a mission trip/ internship training for my church in Idaho! I would like God to help me build relationships with the people of Tecate to bring them closer to God. That is my ultimate thing on my summer 2014 bucket list.

    23. On my Summer 2014 bucket list I have one HUGE goal, it’s to say goodbye to the man in my life who means everything to me, the man who came into my life and flipped it around and pointed me back into the right direction. He’s moving 20 hours away to Texas to work, for me and him, so we can have the life he wants, but I can’t be with him for 4 more years. So I need to be strong and strive through it.

    24. The number 1 thing on my bucket list is learning to speak better.

Allow me to clarify. One of my majors is East Asian Studies, which covers China, Japan, Korea, and to a degree Vietnam. Part of this is learning how to read, write, and speak in the native languages. I’m a left-brained learner when it comes to language, which makes learning any foreign language difficult. In fact, choosing a major that focuses mainly on learning at least Chinese has to be the most difficult thing I’ve had to do in my life…however, it’s also the most interest I’ve had in any topic in a long time. I actually want to study and learn more, to the extent that I have no problem practicing relentlessly in my free time, and the fact that my only qualms about homework is how much it hurts my wrist (which, after 5 hours of character writing, would bother anyone). To make it better, I plan on studying abroad in Japan next year. Since Japanese isn’t a course provided by the college, I personally need to teach myself the language, using whatever resources I can get my hands on.

These two reasons combine to set me on the path to learning how to speak these languages over the summer. It’s not a feat that can be completed in 2 1/2 months, mind you–but hopefully it will give me the foothold I need.

    25. On my bucket list this summer is to make my own tulle skirt, i think they are super cute, totally girly, and i like to make my own clothes. This summer i want to make and wear my own tulle skirt!
