In case you needed another reason to be in awe of God’s amazing work, here’s a melodious sign from our feathered friends in the sky!
According to recent findings, human beings have a lot in common with birds—songbirds, in particular. Apparently, the same genes that allow us to speak and sing God’s praises are similar to those that give songbirds the ability to belch out the heavenly melodies we so often hear.
Now, this news is pretty amazing and also surreal if you really think about it! Human beings and birds are very distinct creatures. And yet, when both birds and humans are boiled down to their most basic components, it becomes clear just how connected God intended for all of His creations to be.
There is no way to explain this phenomenon without mentioning the Man above. It’s impossible! God created everything in this world. As such, it makes sense that we are all connected in some way or another.
As Christians, it is important to recognize God’s great work both in our lives and in the world around us. He is worthy of our awe, and these heavenly birds are a small, fluttering reminder of that!
