    6 Adorable Spring DIY Crafts

Ah, spring—it makes you want to get up and do things. The only question is…do what?

If you’re like us, and you’d rather build things than buy them, then we’ve got a few DIY projects we think you might like to tackle while you shake off all that cold-weather sleepiness.

    1. Turn your rain boots into garden ornaments

If it’s time to retire your rain boots, why not allow them to R.I.P.—in your garden? Think about it: They were built to keep water and dirt out, which means they’re probably pretty good at doing just the opposite, too.

The great thing about this project? All you really need is a green thumb. Unless you’re looking to hang ’em, in which case you’ll need a hammer to wrap that green thumb around.

    Check out our inspiration here.

    2. Stick around, will ya?

Who would have thought regular ol’ sticks could be turned into such an interesting wall arrangement? Again, here’s a project that’s low on time and resources, but not on creativity.

Choose an array of colors that seem to complement one another, grab a paintbrush (channeling your inner Picasso), then organize your newly decorated sticks into a captivating display.

You can find our inspiration here.

    3. Cruisin’ in style

Any project that lets us pick through a ton of ribbons is a project we’re more than happy to entertain—especially one that looks fabulous when paired with a vintage bicycle. Hence, these bicycle streamers, to which we say—the more, the merrier.

Find all the step-by-step instructions you’ll need here.

    4. Seeing green

Big surprise—we fell in love with yet another mason jar creation. These homemade citronella candles are all things wonderful, like lemons paired with limes. Not to mention they’re pretty easy to craft, too.

Find out just how easy here.

    5. Go ahead—get all wrapped up

A well-made garland can make any setting seem more charming, which is why we support investing a small amount of time in learning how to make them.

Or just wrap a simple garland strand around the string of a balloon. (Hey, some of us are busy, right?)

    6. Fun with flowers

Okay, so this one looks like it probably took hours to make, doesn’t it? Feel free to keep scrolling….

    Oh…so maybe it didn’t!

Just hang your “bedazzled” letter of choice in the center of an empty frame and voilà! So sophisticated and yet so simple.

Kudos to our inspiration, which you can find here.
