    1. What grade or year are you in now? Freshman in college
    2. What style trends are you seeing (and loving!) this semester? Sweaters, dresses, and riding boots <3
    3. Which class will be your biggest challenge and how are you handling it? Honors Astronomy– I had to add it last minute because of really poor scheduling conflicts. Catching up was tough, and I still haven't met my professor (he was out of town last week), so it's going to be a challenge!
    4. Have you made any new friends? Yes! The girls in my wing are really great, and I've met lots of people through my new church and "youth group" (that's the best way to describe the student group– it's kind of like Cru through my church).
    5. What resolutions or goals have you set for this semester and how are you working toward them? Stay healthy, don't fall back to my eating disorder when things get stressful, and work to keep building my faith!
    6. Has your beauty routine changed since past semesters? How much time are you giving yourself in the morning to get ready? A little bit. I wear more makeup now because that's what most girls do here on campus, but my showers are a lot quicker. The time is about the same, but just different things now get priority.
    7. How are you getting to school this semester? (Or, if you’re homeschooled, do you have any unique morning routines or ways you use the time saved from not having to travel?) I live on campus, so I just walk or bike most days. If I'm running late and need to get across campus quickly or I'm going to my night class, I take the light rail.
    8. How do you incorporate your faith into your school life? Do you read the Bible between classes or are you part of a club or group, etc.? Like I mentioned before, I'm involved in my church's student group. I'm also going to be on the food team to help make our after service lunches! I am doing my best to read devotionals and at least a chapter out of the Bible, but some days I don't… 🙁 but I always do read the daily verse delivered to my phone, which really helps set the right tone for the day.
    9. Have you joined any fun after-school activities or clubs? What are you most excited about? Again, my church group! I love freshman discipleship, which is brunch and Bible study before service on Sunday.
    10. Which class is your favorite and why? "Making a Difference in the Lives of Young People." I want to be a teacher so it's super interesting!!! 🙂

    4. Have you made any new friends?

    7. How are you getting to school this semester? (Or, if you’re homeschooled, do you have any unique morning routines or ways you use the time saved from not having to travel?)

FCA has prayer groups in the morning and I bring my Bible to school everyday to read whenever I have extra time.

My schedule after school is booked with show choir practices, theatre rehearsals and meetings for tech crew along with French NHS and NHS, in general. Then I volunteer at church with the cute little preschoolers 🙂 I’m most excited for theatre company/Thespian Troupe.
    10. Which class is your favorite and why?
My favorite class is one of my electives which would be acting. All of my friends are in that class and I absolutely LOVE ending my day with something I am passionate about and sharing the same passion with my friends. It is loads of fun! 🙂

~Ankle boots, oversized sweaters, and mid-length dresses. 🙂

    3. Which class will be your biggest challenge and how are you handling it?
~Science. I’m taking an AP Environmental Science course and I don’t have a textbook – only some diagrams and a few paragraphs of information to answer difficult questions that you cannot find on Google. I’m signed up for online tutoring so hopefully that will help.

    4. Have you made any new friends?
~Yep! 🙂 And I’m better friends with people I knew before.

    5. What resolutions or goals have you set for this semester and how are you working toward them?
    ~To not slack on anything.

    6. Has your beauty routine changed since past semesters? How much time are you giving yourself in the morning to get ready?
~Luckily, I have pretty manageable hair and I’m also pretty simple when it comes to makeup so it only takes me about 30-40 minutes to get completely ready in the morning.

    7. How are you getting to school this semester? (Or, if you’re homeschooled, do you have any unique morning routines or ways you use the time saved from not having to travel?)

~I’m in choir and I love it so much.

    10. Which class is your favorite and why?

    1. What grade or year are you in now?
    My sophomore year of college.
    2. What style trends are you seeing (and loving!) this semester?
I haven’t been paying much attention, but with a quick glance I can tell more people are wearing flannels this year. Yay <3
    3. Which class will be your biggest challenge and how are you handling it?
Chinese. So far it's been difficult to handle, since it's difficult and I've essentially been told I should drop the class (the person has been telling others that I am dropping, so I'd assume that's supposed to be a hint), but I think I'm starting to figure it out (for now).
    4. Have you made any new friends?
I think so. I think I've befriended the freshmen at the shop…either that or I freak them out and they don't want to say anything ^^"
    5. What resolutions or goals have you set for this semester and how are you working toward them?
I'm going to learn Chinese, and start learning Japanese. I'm going to get straight A's so that I can have a decent standing when applying for abroad scholarships.
    6. Has your beauty routine changed since past semesters? How much time are you giving yourself in the morning to get ready?
Hm…I actually make an effort to change my shirt in the morning (most of the time), and as of late I'm a bit less bothered by wearing sweatpants.
    7. How are you getting to school this semester? (Or, if you’re homeschooled, do you have any unique morning routines or ways you use the time saved from not having to travel?)
I walk to my classes, which are anywhere between 7 and 10 minutes away from my dorm.
    8. How do you incorporate your faith into your school life? Do you read the Bible between classes or are you part of a club or group, etc.?
I do a heck of a lot of praying. Otherwise I probably wouldn't survive. I've also started going to the church group on campus, and as usual I read my daily devotional every night 🙂 (not the Bible, though, since I'm still trying to pick apart my reading of Job last month)
    9. Have you joined any fun after-school activities or clubs? What are you most excited about?
I play quidditch, which is oodles of fun 🙂 I'm particularly excited about anime club this year, since we're considering starting a small convention on campus and I would get to be a costume contest judge! 😀

Peoples' and cultures Japan, since I feel like I actually understand the information and that there is a purpose for the class.

    1. What grade or year are you in now?
    I’m a freshman in college!
    2. What style trends are you seeing (and loving!) this semester?
This semester I’m in love with the retro 60’s prints, Western style, and chunky knitwear. Another trend I’ve been seeing a lot of from Fashion Week and love is sneakers, the bolder the better!
    3. Which class will be your biggest challenge and how are you handling it?
Environmental Ethics will be my biggest challenge by far… I’m a little intimidated by how smart my professor is and how passionate he is about Philosophy. I’m handling it by doing all of my homework, participating in the class discussions, and asking for help on what I don’t understand.
    4. Have you made any new friends?
Yes! I met a friend through one of my friends along with a few classmates. That’s what I love about college, you get to meet so many new people.
    5. What resolutions or goals have you set for this semester and how are you working toward them?
One of my goals I set this semester is to maintain a good GPA. College is very self directed, so I’ve been working towards getting a certificate in Sustainability and Ecological Literacy so I can transfer to a university after getting my Associate’s at community college. Another goal I set for this semester is to just be kind to everyone I meet, try new things, and make new friends.
    6. Has your beauty routine changed since past semesters? How much time are you giving yourself in the morning to get ready?
I have mostly morning/mid afternoon classes, so I try to lay out my outfit the night before to save time. My beauty routine has changed a little bit because I tend to experiment more with makeup but still keep it natural and easy.
    7. How are you getting to school this semester? (Or, if you’re homeschooled, do you have any unique morning routines or ways you use the time saved from not having to travel?)
My mom has been kind enough to take me to school while I work on saving up for car insurance and getting my license. I really want a motor bike, they’re so much fun to ride and great on gas!
    8. How do you incorporate your faith into your school life? Do you read the Bible between classes or are you part of a club or group, etc.?
I’ve been trying to be better about my faith by praying before meals and before I go to bed, along with joining the Christian club on campus.
    9. Have you joined any fun after-school activities or clubs? What are you most excited about?
Yes! I signed up for the HEAT club (Humanitarian Environmental Action Team), Kairos Christian Club, and Intercultural Club. I’m most excited for the Intercultural Club because I love learning about new cultures and meeting people.
    10. Which class is your favorite and why?
English 101 by far! My professor is one of the best teachers I’ve had! Every day we do something different and I love that she’s very helpful, funny, and easy going.

Most of the time I give myself about 20 minutes in the morning to get ready, and then walk to class since it’s right there, usually in the mornings I don’t put on makeup though, it’s a lot of work for only going to like 2 classes that day.
    7. How are you getting to school this semester? (Or, if you’re homeschooled, do you have any unique morning routines or ways you use the time saved from not having to travel?)

    1. I am a freshman in high school.
    2. I really like the ankle boot trend that I am seeing. It is sooo cute!
    3. Probably either Bio or History. Bio because I am worried that I won’t study enough for the upcoming test and History because we talk a lot about the creation of the world and evolution and I want to be a light for God and be bold in my faith that God did indeed create the world. I don’t want to fade into the back ground. I have been praying a lot about these two classes.
    4. I have made a few new friends.
    5. I have made a resolution to spend half an hour every morning reading my bible, praying to God, and listening to Him. I set my alarm for half and hour earlier and tell myself that even though I am tired this will help me get through the day.
    6. My beauty routine is pretty simple. My makeup usually takes 15-20 minutes but I keep it simple (foundation, sparkly pink eyeshadow, brown eyeliner, mascara, and a little bit of blush). I usually give myself an hour to get ready.
    7. My mom drives me to school
    8. I am apart of Christian Association Club and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Also, when I am feeling overwhelmed I will pray in my head for God to be with me and help me to not worry. I also write bible verses on my arm so that I will see them during the day and think about God.
    9. I have joined SO MANY clubs. But I am most excited for the Christian Association and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. I can’t wait to meet other Christians in my school!
    10. Probably English because I love writing and reading and the teacher is super cool.

    1. I’m a senior in high school! Which is still crazy to me; time really does fly…
    2. I’m seeing a lot of dresses; people who don’t normally wear dresses are wearing dresses.
    3. Right now, I’m only taking two classes: Government and Community Service. I literally leave school after first block and do community service. Needless to say, this semester is going to be a breeze.
    4. I would say I’ve made new friends. We are in groups for our Comm. Serv. class, and we are with the people in our group every day for about two hours. It would be hard not to make friends.
    5. I’ve set the goal to be more outgoing and social; I’m working toward this by basically just putting myself out there, and praying to God to give me the courage needed to talk and be social.
    6. My beauty routine hasn’t changed all that much. I give myself a decent amount of time to get ready (most of my friends think I’m crazy). I get up at 5:30 every morning and don’t leave the house until around 7:10 or 7:15, and most days, I’m practically running out of the door to get to whatever that day’s meeting is (I’m in a lot of clubs.) Long story short, I’m sluggish in the morning and spend way too long just sitting at the kitchen table.
    7. I’m driving myself to school, which I love because I can leave whenever I need to.
    8. I’m a part of a non-denominational Christian club at my school. We meet weekly and discuss daily devotionals and such.
    9. I’m involved in our Student Council (I’m a senior class Representative), Beta Club, and The Non-Denominational Club I stated earlier. I also attend senior class meetings frequently. I’m most excited just to be involved more this year. I really hope to get my name out there and meet new people.
    10. I LOVE the Community Service class! I get to spend time out in the community, helping out and meeting prominent figures (I work at my city’s City Hall, so I’ve met the mayor, the governor, etc.). It’s been a lot of fun, and I get to spend every day with the people in my group, who are pretty great. I’ve known them since kindergarten, but we haven’t talked in a few years, so this class has been like a nice reunion. I really enjoy it, and I was even on the news yesterday because of this class, which is pretty awesome! So I can’t complain. 🙂
