    1. What are your plans for tonight? Or, if you’re celebrating this weekend, what are you doing? I spent the night in my room with all kinds of different sources of chocolate, popcorn, pretzels and a night long Danny Phantom marathon. Single life, baby.

    3. Does your school? Nope.
    4. What are your general thoughts on the holiday–like it? Hate it? No strong feelings either way? It’s cool if you’re not single and into that sort of thing. But when you’re on the outside looking in, it gets thirdwheelish preeetty quickly.

I used to think so, but now I realize that it’s kind of cute and fun to actually have a special day. Kinda lamecore of course, but still fun.
    10. Does your church talk about the holiday at all and if so, what kinds of things have you discussed and learned? Not really….

    1. What are your plans for tonight? Or, if you’re celebrating this weekend, what are you doing?
    – I actually went on a weekend retreat with the youth in my church. It was the greatest thing ever!

    2. Does your family do anything special for Valentine’s Day?
    – Nothing.

    3. Does your school?
    – People can pay to give Carnations to their friends around the school.

    4. What are your general thoughts on the holiday–like it? Hate it? No strong feelings either way?
    – I don’t hate it, even though it reminds people that they’re single, I don’t really care. I choose to accept the chocolate that friends give me and enjoy my time spent with friends or by myself.

    5. What would your dream Valentine’s Day look like?
    – Spending time with the youth at my church (like this year’s Valentine’s day).

    6. What’s the best gift: chocolates, flowers or just a thoughtful card?
    – Chocolate!

    7. What’s your favorite aspect of the holiday?
    – The chocolate!

    – Chocolate.

    9. Are you of the opinion that couples shouldn’t need a reminder to pay special attention to each other, or do you think it’s fun to have a special day once a year?
    – They shouldn’t need one, but I think it’s still always nice to have that one special day.

    10. Does your church talk about the holiday at all and if so, what kinds of things have you discussed and learned?
    – We actually didn’t. 🙂 Well… we sort of did on this retreat. My youth pastor said, “No ‘purpling’.” Which, if anyone doesn’t understand that:
    Boys = Blue
    Girls = Red
    They cannot combine.

    1. What are your plans for tonight? Or, if you’re celebrating this weekend, what are you doing? I had coffee with my former youth pastor and personal mentor who is a good friend of mine and I really look up to her. She interviewed me for a paper she has to write for school. 2. Does your family do anything special for Valentine’s Day? We have no special traditions but my mom usually gets something for my little brother and me.

    5. Well…being in a relationship with my boyfriend/husband treating me like a princess/watching Disney movies, maybe baking something, and I would as well treat my boyfrined/husband to something special as well. Maybe we’d do something he likes (ok I like it a lot too) like shooting 😀
    6 Can I combine them? chocolate and flowers. 🙂 Maybe I like flowers more….(but don’t get me wrong I love chocolate a lot…too much… :P)
    7. Um…I don’t know…
    8. I don’t know!!
    9. Um, I’m kind of in the middle. Yes, couples should always treat each other extra special once in awhile, but it’s nice to have one day where everyone kind of does…if that makes sense…
