Easter is time that reminds me how real the reserection is. It reveals a deeper understanding of how much Jesus loves me. My savior and God, who is in love with me, took His life so painfully on a cross because He didn’t want to see me suffer. That is truly amazing.

    1. What is your Easter Sunday church service typically like?
I haven’t been to Easter mass for years, and the last time I went it was at a very different sort of church. I’m excited to attend this year and see what it IS like!
    2. What are you planning to wear for Easter?
A very tough question. I might have to go with my green dress with white and yellow floral patterns, it always makes me think of spring.
    3. Do you have a big meal planned with your church or your family?
My family always does Easter brunch. I don’t know if there is anything planned at my church.
    4. Will you do any Easter-related crafts, like dyeing eggs?
Yes! Dying eggs with my sisters is probably one of my favorite family traditions
    5. Any plans to do an Easter egg hunt?
My little sister will, though I don’t know about myself xD
    6. What’s your favorite part of Easter Sunday?
I have no idea. All of it.
    7. What’s your favorite Bible verse to read on Easter?
I can’t say that I have one. This is my first Easter with a physical copy of the Bible, so I’ll wait and see what happens xD
    8. Do you have any family traditions for Easter?
Not any large Easter traditions – brunch, Easter egg hunt, maybe a few movies. Just the norm. My family is not religious, so we generally have the average American secular celebration.
    9. What’s one new thing you’re doing for Easter this year that you haven’t done in past years?
    Going to mass xD
    10. What does Easter really mean to you?
Once upon a time, it was the Easter egg hunt. Nowadays, I’m happy to say it has taken on new meaning. This is the first Holy Week I’ve ever experienced while knowing the meaning of the word, and to be honest I have no idea what is in store. I’m going to try to attend mass at least a few times during the week, and maybe by Easter Sunday I can even call myself a changed person in Christ.
As of now, though, the true meaning of Easter Sunday is the Resurrection and glory of Jesus Christ. I can’t wait to see what it will be like for me, my first real religious Easter Sunday in a very long time.

For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him.
