1.”Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”-Proverbs 22:6~ I think the biggest things in family is LOVE and to me if you love your the family you’ll train children in your family (nieces, Nephews, Little Cousins, Your own kids) in the way of truth because they are the next generation that’ll represent your family you want to show them right!
2.”We love him, because he first loved us.”-1 John 4:19~ WE love because he FIRST loved us. Despite our failures he still loved us!
3.”And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”-Mark 16:15~ This is my favorite cause Jesus said this while walking this very earth to his disciples and I am now a disciple myself and jesus dwells with me day today!
4.” A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.”-Proverbs 18:24~ This is my favorite because I have 2 friends like this Jesus and my VERY BEST friend! i’m glad to have both to talk to anytime and they both listen and comfort me!
5.”But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.”-2 Peter 3:18~ This I had to look up but this is SO VERY true every peace of biblical knowledge I have is given by his grace and used for HIS glory not my own!
    6. “Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.” Okay be ready for a SUPER long explanation! This bible verse has MUCH power! I for a lonnnnggg time needed a reason why GOD is calling me to a bible collage when I graduated and I had been lookin thru some things on the website and I came across something with this tied in to and reading it I felt GOD whisper “This is why!” and I like Isaiah proclaim HERE AM I! send ME LORD! ill take the message to this lost world!
7.”For God SO LOVED the world he gave his ONLY begotten son that whosoever believeth in whom should not perish but have EVERLASTING life.”-John 3:16 ~ That explains itself! 🙂
8.” Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?”-Matthew 16:24-26~ I think this is how to live a good life take up your cross and follow no matter how big the burden you carry it and NEVER lay it down! and be willing to do anything for the Gospel and our GOD!
9.”And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.”-2 Corinthians 12:8-10~ I would rather suffer here and there and have the grace of God with me more than to live a perfect life everyday and never know what its like for God to show his perfect grace and strength!
10.”But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”- Isaiah 40:31 ~ If I keep the faith I know at then end of every trail GOD will give greater strength!

    2. …love?

    1. …family? Joshua 24:15- “Choose you this day whom ye will serve, but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
    2. …love? Corinthians 13- “If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”
    3. …spreading the gospel? 1 Peter 3:15- “Always be ready to give an explanation to anyone who asks for a reason for your hope, but do it with gentleness and reverence.”
    4. …friendship? Proverbs 17:17- “A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity.”
5….growing your relationship with Christ? Jeremiah 29:13- “You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.”
    6. …God’s plans for you? Jeremiah 29:11- “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
    7. …God’s love for you? John 3:16- “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.”
    8. …how to live a good life? 1 John 4:19- “We love because He first loved us.”
9….inspiration in hard times? Philippians 4:13- “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

    1. …family? ~Ephesians 6:1-4 “Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother – which is the first commandment with a promise – that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth. Fathers, do not exasperate your children, instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.”

    2. …love? ~ Romans 12:9-21 and 1 Corinthians 13:1-8a (the love verses)

    3. …spreading the gospel? ~ Matthew 28:19-20 The Great Commission. I have to say why. A lot of people – myself included – read “go and make disciples..” and think we have to actually “go” somewhere to fulfill this command. But my pastor said a more accurate translation would be “as you go” meaning more “as you go about your daily life, make disciples”. Because not everybody is called to leave their home to spread the Gospel. We can do it here too.

    8. …how to live a good life? ~ Ephesians 4:2-3 “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.”

9….inspiration in hard times? ~ Hebrews 10:23 “Let us hold unswervingly to the faith we profess, for He who promised is faithful.”

10….keeping the faith? ~ Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. “
