    Survey: What Are Your Plans for New Year’s Eve?

    PI Girls, can you believe it’s almost the end of the year? Yes, 2014 is drawing to a close, and as the year wraps up, we want to know what goals and special plans you have for NYE! Maybe you have a to-do list left over from January or a specific goal you want to achieve this winter. Do you already have your Christmas break plans for the year?       ~No…

      ~It’s my brother’s birthday, but I still have no idea.

      ~Which month is this month? January or December? For January, there’s a youth retreat coming up, and in December, my cousins visited over Christmas.

      ~Anything comfy, really.

      ~Just celebrating my bro’s birthday.

      ~SLEEP
      7. How do you typically spend New Year’s Day?
      ~Sleeping in after being up all night.
      8. What’s the one winter activity you want to have done by the end of the year?
      ~Erm…
      9. This year, are you going to make or buy most of your Christmas gifts? Have you started already?
      ~I made and bought my gifts, and I hope to do the same next year, too.
      10. What are you most proud of accomplishing so far this year?
      ~Getting a new flute and getting into an orchestra.

      ~To read the Bible everyday and do my devotions and draw closer to Him. Also to improve my times by a lot in swimming

      ~I am staying home and hanging with my friends and swim coach

      ~Not really

      ~idk probably just jeans and a t-shirt like usual
      5. What are your family’s traditions for ringing in the new year?
      ~we watch the ball drop and count down on tv and then bang pots and pans and my dad and sister shoot off their guns

      ~staying home and swim practice!!!

      ~at home
      8. What’s the one winter activity you want to have done by the end of the year?
      ~ build a snowman

      ~ I bought all of mine

      ~dropping lots of time on some of my events in swimming and improving A LOT!!!

      3. Do you have any special events or plans this month? I might be starting Drivers ED (eek!)

      5. What are your family’s traditions for ringing in the new year? A lot of yelling, eating, screaming, and playing games
      6. What are your plans for Christmas break? Sleep. Eat. Have fun.
      7. How do you typically spend New Year’s Day? Playing board games with friends and family and eating snacks
      8. What’s the one winter activity you want to have done by the end of the year? Snow!
      9. This year, are you going to make or buy most of your Christmas gifts? Have you started already? BOTH
      10. What are you most proud of accomplishing so far this year? Better grades in school

      No, I don’t do that sort of stuff.

      Staying home.

      Not really

      I’m staying home so… PJ’s.

      5. What are your family’s traditions for ringing in the new year?
      We buy marshmallows and roast them over the stove then of course make smores, stay up till midnight (of course) and… probably watching the ball drop.

      Do nothing.
      7. How do you typically spend New Year’s Day?
      Well usually we… stay home, but this year we’re going to my aunt’s house.
      8. What’s the one winter activity you want to have done by the end of the year?
      Don’t have anything.
      9. This year, are you going to make or buy most of your Christmas gifts? Have you started already?
      It’s past Christmas but I bought the gifts.

      10. What are you most proud of accomplishing so far this year?
      … Oh! I went to a camp this summer and learned how to teach kids about Jesus, and then when I got home the people from my part went out in groups to different places and taught about Jesus.

      Yes to become a lot closer to God and read the Bible everyday also to practice the trombone more at home.

      Going to a party with my mom and sister.

      Exams

      idk yet

      5. What are your family’s traditions for ringing in the new year?
      We don’t really have any.

      Read Write and Relax.

      Doing nothing.

      It would be nice to build a snowman but it doesn’t snow In the south .

      Buy and sine its past Christmas , yes.

      Marching season.

      sitting in my house eating popcorn and watching movies…like usual

      pajamas lol

      Trying to stay awake…. usually doesnt work though. none of us are night owls

      relaxing!!

      doing school work… im homeschooled

      i wanted to learn how to ski but cant do that in NOLA #70degrees

      I did make one but honestly, I think I lost it and I don’t remember what was on it. LOL 😀 Typical me.

      I am headed up to PA to visit my family and we will probably stay up until midnight

      This upcoming January my youth group is headed to Acquire the Fire; a youth conference that we go to every year.

      Umm, right now I’m wearing jeans, sambas, a fleece jacket, and my tshirt from a soccer tournament I played in.

      5. What are your family’s traditions for ringing in the new year?
      Umm, we don’t really do anything special. We go up to PA to visit family, but that’s basically it.

      6. What are your plans for Christmas break?
      Celebrating Christmas first off and then heading up to PA to visit family.

      7. How do you typically spend New Year’s Day?
      Hanging out and visiting with my extended family; playing games, ice skating, sledding, and laughing till we cry.

      8. What’s the one winter activity you want to have done by the end of the year?
      Ice skating!

      9. This year, are you going to make or buy most of your Christmas gifts? Have you started already?
      We had to make all of our Christmas gifts this year due to the fact that we couldn’t afford to buy anything.

      10. What are you most proud of accomplishing so far this year?
      I have finally been able to come out my dark shell and have truly discovered and continue to discover who I am in Christ. My past has been extremely hard and it left me broken and my self confidence and self esteem levels were extremely low. This year, I was able to come out of that frame of mind by seeking God’s guidance and ridding myself of those things that were weighing me down. I now know who God has called me to be and I have found my true self, not the fake girl I was a year ago.

      2. What are you doing for NYE?
      I am working at a bed and breakfast, the Blue Belle Inn
      3. Do you have any special events or plans this month?
      My mom’s birthday is on the 28th.
      4. What are you wearing for NYE?
      Black dress pants with a peacock patterned dress shirt.
      5. What are your family’s traditions for ringing in the new year?
      Sometimes we have a family party and make finger foods.
      6. What are your plans for Christmas break?
      R&R. Although my break consists of morning basketball practice.
      7. How do you typically spend New Year’s Day?
      Christmas at my grandma’s house.
      8. What’s the one winter activity you want to have done by the end of the year?
      Make a snowman, but that isn’t going to happen here in northern Iowa… ;(
      9. This year, are you going to make or buy most of your Christmas gifts? Have you started already?
      I am going to use most of my presents, and yes, I have already started.
      10. What are you most proud of accomplishing so far this year?
      In March, I won an award for a piano perfomance.

    9. 1. Did you make any New Year’s resolutions this year? If so, what’s left for you to accomplish? I have no clue 🙂 I want to start remembering to pray before meals more. And continue to read the Bible more.
      2. What are you doing for NYE? Well, I just got my wisdom teeth out so I am staying at home, but I am definitely going to watch the New York thing where the ball drops like I always do. And we have this tradition where we bang on pots and pans outside. I think it’s a New Jersey thing, but I don’t live there anymore so we might be the only ones in my neighborhood doing that but oh well haha 🙂

      5. What are your family’s traditions for ringing in the new year? Banging on pots and pans out back and watching the new york city thing where the ball drops. sometimes we go to parties (my sisters are) but not always
      6. What are your plans for Christmas break? So far, we have gone to Disney for a day, and I just got my wisdom teeth out, but not much else
      7. How do you typically spend New Year’s Day? Idk, we don’t really have any traditions or anything we usually do on New Years Day.
      8. What’s the one winter activity you want to have done by the end of the year? Watching a lot of Doctor Who so i can finish the season already! The season is over and i was falling behind because I missed an episode as it aired on saturday so now I have to catch up 🙂
      9. This year, are you going to make or buy most of your Christmas gifts? Have you started already? I bought them.
      10. What are you most proud of accomplishing so far this year? Well, I have been successful in reading the bible more, which was a goal i had.

    10. 1. Did you make any New Year’s resolutions this year? If so, what’s left for you to accomplish? I honestly can’t remember, but I don’t think I did any of them. Unless I can lose 20 lbs in 3 hours, I failed this last years list.

      2. What are you doing for NYE? In a little while, some family friends are coming over to hang out until midnight.

      9. This year, are you going to make or buy most of your Christmas gifts? Have you started already? I bought people stuff kinda

      10. What are you most proud of accomplishing so far this year? graduating high school and starting college

      ~ I don’t usually make resolutions, but I want to work harder at memorizing 1 and 2 Timothy.

      2. What are you doing for NYE? ~ going to my best friend’s house for a Japanese themed party

      3. Do you have any special events or plans this month? ~ if you mean January, yes. SpringHill with my youth group and I am hosting a Jamberry party.

      4. What are you wearing for NYE? ~ a kimono 🙂 just regular clothes

      5. What are your family’s traditions for ringing in the new year? ~ if we do anything, it is going to my friend’s house

      7. How do you typically spend New Year’s Day? ~ this year was a lazy day where we got up super late (we were up till 2 in the morning) and just did some random stuff. We usually go to my grandparent’s house for chili and cornbread.
