Taylor Swift Hits the Road on Her RED Tour

Last week, Taylor Swift kicked off her much anticipated, 45-city RED tour! She’s performing 58 shows with opener Ed Sheeran and wraps up this September in her hometown of Nashville. She already had gigs in Omaha and St. Louis, and will continue onto Charlotte, NC this Friday.

“I didn’t think I could be any more excited about my RED album, but then I start thinking about how I’m going to put the new show together for The RED Tour,” says Swift on her site. “I have so many ideas about how to really bring this music to life, and I can’t wait to share the new show with all my fans!”

Knowing how neat her shows have been in the past, we’re willing to bet this one is just as over the top! We also have to commend Swift for making sure there were tickets available at each stop for under $50, so more of her fans can afford to see her live.

So what else can fans expect from the tour? Swift explains in the video below:

    Team Project Inspired
We here at Project Inspired want to guide and inspire teen girls to be true to themselves and to God. We want to show young girls how to be people of value and confidence – how to be your own best selves – through leading a Christian life. Who are we? We're a team of girls, like you. We edit the site, we post to social media, we hang out in the chat rooms and forums. We talk with you, we listen to you, and we love you!

    1. why is this on p.i.? its not Godly, its not inspiring, its worldly…. but then again, you’ve become worldy, not bad as some sites i’ll admit, but do you remember when it used to be ALL about God? mabye one in fifty articles were on fashion, or secular music or boys, but now its mabye one in fifty on God, its still not as bad as some sites, but its getting there, i am sorry to say.

      • PI still does posts about being Godly! What about the Caught being Godly posts? Or the Sunday School Posts? Or all the scripture verses that are in a lot of these kinds of posts. I can agree that PI doesn’t do as many God centered posts but they still keep it centered on God if you know what I mean.

      • Woah, hey, Taylor may not be Godly, but she is a good inspiration in many ways! And I agree with PolkaDot, the posts on here are more centered on God than God-centered. But is that bad? No. The girl who’s doing 89 acts of kindness in memory of her great-grandmother, she may not be Christian, per se, but what she’s doing is very Christ like.

    2. I’d love to go the show in Portland, Oregon but a couple of weeks before, Hunter Hayes is going to be at the Willamette County Country Music Festival so I have to pick one or the other. I’ll probably end up seeing Hunter Hayes, just because the music festival is something I’m more interested in. Otherwise, I’d love to see Taylor Swift live! (:

      • You really think she has an anti woman attitude? Any girl that can stand up in front of a thousands of people and dis her ex boyfriend that broke her heart is pretty pro women. Women aren’t anti women Eurydice. They just aren’t as radical as you. I think women should have equal rights but I’m not radical. There’s a fine line between a feminist and a crazy radical who’s offended by everything.

    3. I don’t like her music that much, but she is a very inspiring person, and I admire her high moral standards, that I hope she continues to uphold! I wish more girls would model her (minus the boyfriends)! 🙂

    4. I personally quite dislike Taylor Swift and what she stands for. I don’t think she’s a good role model. She constantly victimizes herself in her songs and slut-shames. Any girl that can stand up in front of a thousands of people and dis her ex boyfriend that broke her heart is pretty childish. I also dislike that she’s been derogatory towards gays in the past while at the same time participating in the NOH8 campaign. Not a fan of her as a musician or person.

      • I disagree. She’s changed since then… When she said that thing about gay people in her song she was only sixteen. Now she’s 23 and has a much more level head on her shoulders. Not to mention, there are way more people who dis their exes, but Taylor constantly is victimized for it because she supposedly has dated “so many guys” when she’s really only dated six.
