The AWESOME List, Featuring Switchfoot’s New Single!

Girls, we are starting a new weekly article on things that make us shout “AWESOME!” These posts will be a guide for things we at Project Inspired are enjoying this week…and we hope you love them, too!

READ: Jesus > Religion by Jefferson Bethke. You might have been one of the 26 million-plus who saw Jefferson’s viral video “Why I Hate Religion, But Love Jesus.” Well, Jefferson has just released a follow-up to that video with this great new book that explores who Jesus REALLY was. This book will encourage you, challenge you and provide fresh revelations of Jesus’s love for you! Pick up a copy here.

WATCH: Hillsong United’s “Love Is War” (acoustic version)! This week, worship band Hillsong United released Zion Acoustic Sessions, an all-acoustic album that follows their chart-topping album from earlier this year, Zion. In conjunction with the release, they have filmed a music video for the song “Love Is War.” Check out the video:

LISTEN: “Who We Are,” the first single off of Switchfoot’s upcoming album, Fading West. We can’t wait for their new album to come out in January! Catch them around the country this fall as they promote their new film, also entitled Fading West.

TOTALLY AWESOME VIDEO OF THE WEEK: Check out this performance from the Ohio State University Marching Band as they perform Hollywood blockbusters in amazing synchronized fashion. Enough with trying to describe this…just watch in awe!

PI Girls, what are you loving this week? Any cool videos, songs or books you want to share? Tell us about them in the comments below!
