Over the weekend, rapper Kanye West and his Sunday Service Choir performed in front of 12,000 teenagers at a youth conference in Pigeon Forge, Tennesee.
Taking center stage at the Strength to Stand Christian youth conference, West spoke the powerful words to “Jesus is King,” “Follow God” and “Closed on Sunday.”
“I believe Jesus died for my sins. There was a time when the devil had me,” he said, according to The Christian Post.

“Do you know the good news? Jesus can save a wretch like me,” he added as his Sunday Service choir sang, “I stretch my hands to you/Father I stretch.”
“When I don’t know what to do, I can still stretch my hands,” he said.
Scott Dawson, who is an evangelist, preacher, and author invited West to the conference, sharing a photo of the two to Instagram after it concluded.
“Thankful for the opportunity to partner with Kanye West and the Sunday Service Collective,” Dawson wrote. “1483 decisions for Christ. Praying for an awakening in THIS generation! Strength to Stand 2020.”
“After 30 years of youth conferences — humbled by this outpouring of His Spirit!” Dawson wrote in another post, sharing a video from the Sunday Service performance.
The Sunday Service Choir performed a variety of songs, including, “Ultralight Beam,” “Every Hour” and “Revelation 19:1,” along with traditional hymns including “How Great Thou Art” and “Jesus Loves Me.”
