What I’m Reading: The Language of God

This book is absolutely wonderful. It’s written by a once-renowned Atheist who was completely skeptical of the existence of God. In this book, he shares the physical and scientific proof that God in fact IS real! It’s very interesting and one of the best books I’ve read in a long time. Check it out!

Cool! Science and God seem to conflict but if you look down the “path of knowledge” you will see that both ends meet in the middle

Sounds cool, I just shared this. Josh McDowell is a great Christian-apologist author (he became a Christian a long time ago after trying to prove Christianity as false, but found evidence for it instead! Now he’s an Evangelist).

I’m pretty sure this author supports macro evolution, just saying.

There is a book called The Case for Faith by Lee Strobel. It’s interesting- he wrote this book after he wrote The Case for Christ which is kind of the same thing like the book you recommend. However, The Case for Faith takes it a step further because despite scientific and historic proof, people still are skeptical. The Case for Faith goes into objections against faith like how can a loving God kill people, or throw people in hell, things like that. 🙂

Francis Collins’ Language of God is a wonderful book, since he is a knowledgable and loving Christian who shows how physics and the Bible can blend peacefully together. He was an atheist for many years and then humbly bowed down to Christ when the “beauty of God’s creation overwhelmed” him on a hike in the mountains (p. 225). It is an amazing book we can all enjoy.

That book sounds so cool! I love it when people write books like this, they are so encouraging to me as a believer and they can really encourage those who don’t believe in Christ to look into the scriptures more. Thanks for sharing (:
