This Couple’s Wedding Photo is EVERYTHING!

It’s very rare to come across a photograph that makes you stop and pause in absolute awe. But that’s exactly what this one did for us.

This picture of Marine Corps Corporal Caleb Earwood holding the hand of his new wife, while bowing his head in prayer has caused mixed emotions in people. We’re not sure what all the fuss is about, but we ABSOLUTELY love it and everything that it represents. And to those who were outraged by it, the couple had this to say, “We are about to take our first steps in life together, and we didn’t want to take a step without it being in God’s will.”

Beautiful. Just beautiful. This couple clearly understand the importance of having a God-centered relationship. God bless their union.

Thank you for bringing light to this photo. Many people are spewing hatred and I do not understand why. They just got married! What kind of soulless man and woman upon their marriage day not want to cry in happiness that they get to spend the rest of their lives with the persons they love. Its an emotional moment. Religion or no religion. Marriage is beautiful! Leave this beautiful couple alone with all the hatred. Their love for each other and for their faith is prevalent in this picture and It’s beautiful. I hope people can be learn to not be so blind in their hate for others or for others beliefs and see the beauty and love that is in this world.

Absolutely powerful photo especially because many family and friends are current or retired military members. I am also going to Navy boot camp in just over a month and a half.

I wanted to cry when I saw the bride’s face. I applaud military wives. I don’t think I could do it.

Thanks for the positive and respectful attention you brought to this!!! <3 This broke my heart in a beautiful way when I saw it the other day– it made me think of my brother (who ships out to boot camp this weekend 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 ) and maybe in the future, God willing, when he gets married. It frustrated me to see so many people raise such a fuss over such a BEAUTIFUL and ANOINTED moment!!! <3

That’s just because some people don’t know any better. It’s not right, but then, it’s their freedom of speech as well. We can’t force them to change.
