This Song is So Powerful, And is For You When You Feel Down!

A reader just sent me this song dedicated to all the girls out there who feel broken, sad, and not good enough. I’m here to tell you, you are MORE than good enough, you are designed perfectly by your Dad in Heaven! Listen to this powerful song, although it’s a bit sad (And my goal is to not make you cry!)- the message your left with is that you are AMAZING and you don’t have to stay down anymore!

    By Matthew West- Broken Girl

Nicole Weider is a Salem, Oregon native who moved to Los Angeles and quickly found success as a fashion model at the age of 17. Today, Nicole is an active wife, mom, producer, actress and author and has made it her mission to share her personal story, the bright moments and the challenges, with young women around the world.

    1. I just love this song! I was at one of the first concerts for this album…. So powerful. Most of the audience was in tears for this. Matthew West is so God glorifying with such amazing messages. Thank you for sharing this!

    2. That was absolutely beautiful!! I hope songs and messages like this reach others in need-too many see our hope, our love as nothing more than religion. That is the farthest thing from the truth! Our God was not created by man, He is not some man waiting to condemn us… oh how I wish people could see who He really is!

    3. This did make me tear up, but I love the message. The first verse especially hit me hard, since I’ve just recently been trying to come to grips with growing up with an abusive father. I’ve questioned sometimes if I’m ever going to heal, but I know despite it all that just because I’m broken now doesn’t mean that it’s that way forever.

      • you WILL heal, I pray in the name of Jesus he will deliver you from the pain and suffering your father did to you. You are loved more than you know by your REAL father who is in Heaven watching over you. 🙂

    4. I… I don’t know what to say. This is exactly what I needed to hear. Thank you, whoever you are, for sending this to Nicole and putting it in a place where I can hear it. And thank you, Nicole, for being the wonderful, God-glorifying woman you are. It’s partially because of you that I’m becoming so strong in my faith.

    5. There is another song that tells us to love ourselves the way we are. It’s by india arie and it’s called Video.

“I’m not your average girl from a video, and I ain’t built like a super model, but I’ve learned to love myself unconditionally because I am a queen.”

    6. I loveeee Matthew West! Last October I saw him in concert and it was so awesome! My family and another family from around the area were lucky enough to recieve a private concert in Matthew’s dressing room. Both of our families had recently lost a son (or for me and my sister and the other girl, a big brother). My mom&dad and the other couple. He sang “Save a Place for Me.” He also shared some stories with us. Matthew is such an inspiration to many and has touched my life personally. Keep up the Fantastic job Nicole, you too are an inspiration to many! I would love to contact with you some time! 🙂

    7. I so needed this. I never have heard of this song, and it totally just made me cry. I had to switch highschools this year(zoning), all my friends were at my old school. my best friend died in a car crash i saw happen 3 years ago. i’ve been bullied for my life at school. at my new school i’m in classes with the girls who have made fun of me, and hurt me emotionally, about my being adopted as an infant, my friend’s death. actually this summer i was at a christian camp, and during that week on monday night dring worship, i ACCEPTED CHRIST in my life. i was still partially broken. this song is what i needed. i still miss my best friend who died, we were like SISTERS. we’ve known each other since preschool. it’s been hard starting at a new school without her </3 she should be here. she was killed in an accident that involved a drunk driver who hit her car, the car behind mine, i was turned arond in my seat in the back. <//3
