This Week’s Best of the Web, Featuring a New Anti-Procrastination App Invented by Teens
Written by Project Inspired | March 1, 2013
Hey girls! Happy (almost) weekend!
One of our goals here at PI is to bring you the best of the best on the web in a weekly roundup. To do so, we’d love to hear what you are interested in knowing about. What do you love and want to see more of? Let us know in the comments!
Super awesome teen invention:
Two 16-year-old boys from Boulder,Colorado–Ryan Orbuch and Michael Hansen–struggled their sophomore year of high school as they stressed out about finals. But instead of collapsing into a puddle of anxiety, they decided to create their own iPhone app in order to keep track of all their assignments. Finish, an iOS app to prevent procrastination, was born on January 16.
“I had seen myself and so many of my friends struggling, getting really stressed over finals and getting really stressed over school in general,” Hansen told the Denver Post.
CNet News reports that Finish has been downloaded about 16,500 times since its launch and the teens have earned more than $16,000 in only a month’s time. Yowza! Check out all the app’s details in the video above.

Godly tweet from author and pastor @RickWarren:
Until you’re sold out to Jesus you’ll always be for sale to the highest bidding temptation.
