    Hey girls! Happy (almost) weekend!

One of our goals here at PI is to bring you the best of the best on the web in a weekly roundup. To do so, we’d love to hear what you are interested in knowing about. What do you love and want to see more of? Let us know in the comments!

    Super inspiring story:

Wednesday in New York, a different kind of fashion show ruled the runways. Adidas’ NEO Label decided to ask teens themselves to curate a fashion show with the outfits they liked best. Fans from all over the world were asked to submit their looks via the fashion community portal Polyvore. The outfits were then shortlisted by teen bloggers during a number of styling sessions.

The bloggers flew into NYC for the show and handpicked the 30 looks that eventually went down the runway in front of an audience of teens. Selena Gomez, a global style icon for the brand, opened and closed the show.

Gomez said, “I always encourage my fans to express themselves through fashion so it was really exciting that, for the first time at a fashion show, the looks were put together by the people who actually wear them. It was such a fun day and I think the outfits that made it on to the runway were great. There were so many looks that I want to wear myself!”

    Team Project Inspired
We here at Project Inspired want to guide and inspire teen girls to be true to themselves and to God. We want to show young girls how to be people of value and confidence – how to be your own best selves – through leading a Christian life. Who are we? We're a team of girls, like you. We edit the site, we post to social media, we hang out in the chat rooms and forums. We talk with you, we listen to you, and we love you!

    1. I think its cool that she’s encouraging kids to express themselves but wasn’t Adidas just part of a child labour/sweat shop scandal? There were actually protesters that protested during the show. Lately, I haven’t been very fond of her because of her provocative roles in movies like Spring Breakers but being tied in with a company associated with sweat shops is horrible.
