This Week’s Best of the Web, Featuring an Exciting Announcement from Disney!

    Hey girls! Happy (almost) weekend!

One of our goals here at PI is to bring you the best of the best on the web each week, so we’d love to hear what you are interested in knowing about. What do you love and want to see more of? Let us know in the comments!

    Inspirational story of the week:

We don’t know about you, but we were thrilled to hear the official news about the Finding Nemo sequel from Disney! The November 25th, 2015 sequel will be called Finding Dory and will feature Ellen DeGeneres back in the title role. The original director is back on board as well.

Anyone who loved the 2003 favorite will remember Dory as the friendly, slightly amnesiac fish. You can catch some of her best moments from the original in the video below.

The sequel will also include clownfish Marlin and son Nemo, and will be set about a year after the end of the first movie, according to Disney. “I have waited for this day for a long, long, long, long, long, long time,” DeGeneres has said of the sequel. “I’m not mad it took this long. I know the people at Pixar were busy creating Toy Story 16.”

    Team Project Inspired
We here at Project Inspired want to guide and inspire teen girls to be true to themselves and to God. We want to show young girls how to be people of value and confidence – how to be your own best selves – through leading a Christian life. Who are we? We're a team of girls, like you. We edit the site, we post to social media, we hang out in the chat rooms and forums. We talk with you, we listen to you, and we love you!

    1. I didn’t know that Ellen was the voice of Dory? I’m an idiot, lol. But now it makes more sense, in an interview on the Ellen show, a little girl with cancer who Ellen helped make her a Covergirl said that how she never gave up was that a ‘little fishy told me to just keep swimming’. 🙂 🙂

    2. I’ll watch Finding Dory, but I’ve always had the experience of the sequel not being nearly half as good as the first and totally ruining the whole idea of the story. The only ongoing movies I’ve liked from Disney Pixar were the Toy Story ones.
