Tim Tebow’s Night to Shine Event Honors Those With Special Needs
Written by Christi Given | February 23, 2018
Heisman trophy winner, author and public figure Tim Tebow is known for his prayer pose in football and the verses painted under his eyes for football games. He gives back annually through his Night to Shine event honoring those with special needs. Tebow hosts an annual event all over the United States, and partners with different churches and ministries. He is someone who is not only a godly man and a role model, but a doer of the Word. He gives back to those in need and to those who have no voice.

At the Night to Shine events, those with special needs get to dress up, attend a prom type of event, and are all crowned kings and queens for the night. This is a beyond-magical event with many different participants from local church volunteers to different church staff who host the event. The Night to Shine red-carpet evening of honor takes many hands and hearts to make it happen. It is so beautiful to see those who may feel neglected or who don’t get to experience a special night out get served and treated like gold. The Lord tells us to defend and speak up for those who are neglected, and Tebow’s ministry is doing just that.
Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed. (Proverbs 31:8)
