TODAY’S HOT TOPIC: How Often Do You Count Your Blessings?

Counting your blessings means to appreciate all the good things in your life. But that doesn’t just mean counting all the things you have. It also means counting all the good people you have in your life, all the good things that happen to you, all your talents and all the great opportunities you get!

Blessings are also those things you’ve always had but just never consider, such as your health, your body and your senses.

Check out the following clip–it’s not a new one, but it’s a beautiful example of what I mean.

Ladies, we’re all blessed in so many ways, and our blessings vary. But no matter how big or small, we should always make an effort to remember the good things God has blessed us with!

I make it a point to think back on what I’m thankful for at the end of every day, usually when I pray at night. But there are moments, big or small, that make me utter a small prayer of thanks right then and there. I also have a little “blessings” bottle where I list down things, people, moments and other things that I am thankful for each day on a small paper, roll it up and drop it on the bottle labelled “blessings” 🙂

    Wow! That’s so cool.

When i was maybe 7, I decided that God must get tired of hearing “And please do this…” “Please help ___ to get better…” all the time. So now, I’ve always included all of the things that I have to be thankful for. Or at least many of them! Since my list goes on forever…

Yeah it helps me whenever i read bible verses daily i am always reminded of at least one thing i should be thankful for: Jesus’s amazing love! If I can remember that everyday it reminds me of the other things i am thankful for like my friends and my home and family!! this video was so awesome!
