TOMS Shoes for a Cause Introduces New High Heel Wedges

As many of you know, TOMS is a company that helps children and those who are less fortunate receive footwear: TOMS donates a pair of shoes for every pair sold.

In 2006, American traveler Blake Mycoskie befriended children in Argentina and found they had no shoes to protect their feet. Wanting to help, he created TOMS Shoes, a company that would match every pair of shoes purchased with a pair of new shoes given to a child in need. One for One. Blake returned to Argentina with a group of family, friends and staff later that year with 10,000 pairs of shoes made possible by TOMS customers (toms.com).

The company has gained popularity and nearly everyone you come across has a pair of TOMS or has heard of the brand. Many mainstream department stores such as Nordstrom even carry them. You can also buy them in certain shoe stores as well as online.

I recently discovered the newest TOMS design, the high heel wedge. I tend to be a girly-girl and when I saw them I loved the new high heel! Not only are there flats, which are known for their comfort, but there are now boots and the wedges as well!

You can shop online and see the different styles, patterns and colors.

Enjoy a new pair of shoes while supporting a great cause for a bigger purpose! Isn’t it encouraging to see people use their gifts to help others in the world? I know I am encouraged! God’s word tells us to use our gifts to bless others and for his glory!

As each one has recieved a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God (1 Peter 4:10).

PI girls, what are your favorite TOMS shoes? If you had a TOMS wishlist, which shoe would you pick?!

    1. Right now I have the Carpe Diem TOMS but I’m eying a new, more colorful pair! Unfortunately all the one’s I really love are not in my size. But TOMS are the most comfy shoes ever!

    2. I love Toms! They’ve actually had wedges for a while now, I think their newest style of shoes are ballet flats which are super cute. Tom’s can be a little pricey but they are cute, comfortable and for a great cause.

    3. I would love to have an original pair of TOMS. I need a casual show that woorks in the summer and in the winter, at church and at home, and goes with pretty much anything. I love TOMS!!
