    Top 5 Back-to-School Accessories

Last week, we rounded up five of our favorite back-to-school outfits. This got us thinking about back-to-school accessories, and what kinds of items you might be looking for (outside of pens and paper, of course!). Check out our picks below!

We love this soft shell, girly pink, 3D phone case. Even if your phone use is restricted in school, you likely carry it with you to check between classes or after the final bell! For the iPhone 5. (Forever 21, $9)

Classic tortoise shell goes with everything, and these cute sunglasses will protect your eyes on your rides to and from school and during any outdoor classes (hello, gym!). These chunky wayfarers have a little added edge with metallic studs. 100% UV protection. (Charlotte Russe, $3)

For chillier days (or classrooms that happen to be colder than others), plant a comfy scarf in your locker that will go with any outfit. That way, you’re always prepared! We think this lightweight infinity scarf is chic and will go with everything. (Charlotte Russe, $10)

Headphones are perfect for between classes or during study periods. This high polish pair is great because it’s noise-isolating but still super affordable! (Forever 21, $20)

While we’re sure many of you already have a high-functioning backpack picked out, we adore this cross print, stylish backpack. Featuring faux leather trim, the fold over top with magnetic snap and drawstring closure has an interior zip and patch pockets. It’s also got exterior zip pockets with tassels and adjustable shoulder straps. Fully lined, lightweight and woven. (Forever 21, $30)

Girls, which item is your favorite? Have you already picked out all of your back-to-school stuff? Or if you’ve already started school, let us know what you’re carrying! And if you haven’t taken our back-to-school fashion poll yet, you can do that here!

    1. I have a HUGE scarf collection and recently indulged myself by purchasing one from a local Lucky Brand outlet store! I have plain white earbuds for my iPod, b/c I don’t have an iPhone, and I’m fine with having them, b/c I don’t really want bigger ones. I have an adorable Vera Bradley bag in the pattern Ellie Blue that I’ve been using for my backpack since the end of freshman year. I still have it going into my junior year now, so I totally recommend buying a Vera bag if you’re hesitant about it. They last for so long and are all SOOOOO gorgeous! They’re pricey but totally worth it, trust me! 😀

    2. I like the phone case, but I don’t have an iphone. I wish they made cute stuff for itouches. The scarf is cute! The cross trend isn’t my thing. I like little accents of crosses, such as bracelets and necklaces. I’m perfectly fine with my durable swissgear backpack. It holds up extremly well, and i’m able to carry around all the books required for my classes.

    3. I like the iPhone case, but I have and iPod Touch 5, and we have to turn in our electronics at the door at school. The other ones: I don’t have enough money for the sunglasses at the moment; the kids at my school have to wear uniforms, so the scarf is a no in the classroom; I prefer earbuds, or earpods that came with the iPod Touch; and I already have a school bag. Sometimes I want to say that I hate my life, but then something happens to turn around. Well… most of the time.
