The courage it takes to share your whole truth with your whole heart builds resilience and inspires others to accept God's love.

What does it mean to you that you are able share your story with another?

Sharing your story of forgiveness and renewal is not only powerful for you it is powerful for the listener. Even in sharing honestly with our faith community, we are blessed to experience a human witnessing our transgressions and choosing to accept, love and forgive us any way.

Faith give you the courage to share your story because if you believe that God is loving, forgiving and the orchestrator of your life you find meaning in your struggle so far. This type of faith cultivates courage, resilience, and a conviction to share what God has done in your life with others.

We begin to love ourselves. All of a sudden, we can see how God is working in our lives and we find purpose in our pain and have a true desire to serve Jesus and awaken others to His love.

Know that God sees you and that you are known by Him!

You may have wondered, out of all the of people in this world, does God even know that you exist? And the answer is YES He does! Because, as with Hagar: God sees you and just like her, you are deeply loved by God.

‘the God who sees me’ (see Genesis 16:13),

When no one else cared enough to show Hagar any decency, God did. He knew who she was. In fact, He knew her name, and He showed her respect by using it. It’s the same with you. God knows your name. And, not only is your name known, it is “engraved” on the palm of his hand (Isaiah 49:16).

There is not one thing you do, one place you go, one word you write that God does not notice. No corner of your heart is ever hidden from God. Find comfort knowing that God can see at all times exactly what you are going through and He loves you in every moment of your life.

No matter what you face give your self to God. A commitment to God is surrendering to God.

On this side of eternity, we will never be done with surrender because it’s not a one-time decision. It’s a commitment to a lifestyle. Every day brings you a new opportunity to surrender to God. And every-time you surrender you are telling yourself and God once again that you are ALL IN!

Remember we live in God's creation, everything here is ruled by His timing, all you have to do is show up and say yes to God and He will take care of the rest. Come to Him with a willing heart and ask for His love and guidance and you will be rewarded, and He may ask or show you what you need to give over, maybe it's something you thought you had released fully but hadn't, not because you didn't want to, because maybe you couldn't just yet. Your waiting and struggle are the very things God uses to draw you closer to him.

When you are hurting, He understands and He loves

When you are hurting, He understands and He loves you anyway.

Confess your struggle to God and He will bring you healing. You never have to feel ashamed of your hurt with God. He loves you and wants to know your heart.

Remember how much Jesus suffered for us on the cross? He KNOWS what suffering feels like. Jesus alone knows how to get through suffering without sin. He remembers that “we are only dust” (Psalm 103:14).

Jesus knows what it is to walk this earth. His life wasn’t glamorous or trendy. His life was gritty and full of hard experiences with people who needed hope. When life brings challenges your way, look to Jesus to see how to persevere and to love yourself. When you feel broken, remember you are not alone and God will give you the power you need to get through this season.

In place of despair, He brought hope.
In the place of emptiness, He brought passion.
In the place of dry bones, He brought His abundant life.

God's power is limitless, if He can create the universe He can help you to change your life. God's to do list is full of things we could never comprehend, and loving His children is top of the list.

It is NEVER too late for a new beginning.

And you better believe that God is there for your new beginning! And what is even more incredible, He uses people like you and me to help others find a new beginning. There are people all around us who have been broken by life’s circumstances, and maybe they have put themselves off to one side, unable to see who they are and their deep and true beauty as a child of God. When we look to others with the compassion and kindness of Jesus, we might be giving them the breath of fresh air they need to awaken into God's path.

There is a land of beginning again — for any and all of us, and that really means ANY and ALL of us, that is the limitlessness of God's grace and power.

If the focus from day one is a relationship with God you will not turn back.

Be focused on the incredible blessing that you can know God, and that through Jesus you can have a relationship with Him.

'...with this goal in mind, I strive toward the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.' Phil. 3:14

A relationship with God is the greatest prize there is and nothing in this world, no material gain will ever compare to His Glory. We know material things come and go and to find freedom from their inherit burden is a spiritual pursuit.

When you try to live your life the way you have always lived it and fit God into that picture you will still be burdened. Make God the focus, turn towards Him, everything else in your life must fit around Him and in that surrender you are following Jesus. To follow Jesus one must be focused on building the kingdom of God.

God loves you even when you do not love yourself.

God is always with us and will never leave or forsake us. Even when those we love forsake us God is there. Even when our lives are turned upside down and we feel the pain of rejection or the fear of uncertainty God is there with open arms. How blessed to know an everlasting God that understands you, He knows your heart and your concerns and He loves you.

“Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God:” 1 John 3:1a

His love is never ending, never fades, it is always as strong as it was the first time you felt it, deep and strong within your heart. At times our attention might fade, and then we can feel like God is far, but realize it is not God that is drifting, it is only ever you.

Spend some time today to connect to His love, tell Him just how much you love Him and experience in return His love for you. Enjoy and give thanks for this Heavenly embrace. His great love endures all.

Trust in God and you will be strengthened.

We must come to God in humility and honest faith to request physical and spiritual strength. To have faith in God does not mean that there will be no fear or doubt. These are among the enemies commonly used distractions. However practicing your faith will bring you back to truth and in God's truth there is deep and life changing strength. God may ask you to make some life changes, and where ever He calls you, trust He will give you the strength you need to be with it.

Keep your eyes on Jesus and move forward where He leads, no matter what comes your way. God will guide you through and if you need more strength, then lean into your faith and ask for your path to made clear and for your strength to be refreshed. If the enemy comes knocking at your thoughts, ask God to protect your thinking and spend time in His word.

Faith is a decision to trust and obey Jesus and sometimes it is believing His Word above human doubt. Trusting that Jesus loves you, that He will never forsake you and that He will provide for your every need.

"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand" ~ Isaiah 41:10

Take inspiration in the list of faithful believers performing unbelievable tasks throughout history, they were called and God was behind them every step of the way.

We Serve a Limitless God.

God is limitless in his love and power. He is timeless. There are no boundaries of time to God. He is the creator of all things, God is infinite, God is all-powerful, all-knowing, all-capable.

Your job is to have limitless faith and limitless trust in Him.

Unbound by the limitation of time, you can turn your heart over to Him at any point in your life and He will love you as you are right now. There is no limit to what God can do. When God calls on you, He will ask you to stop limiting yourself so you can live in His truth and be who you are called you to be in His Grace and for His Glory.

Why not look at where you might limit His work in your life, I find my thoughts are a great place to start! Look at your thoughts today and ask yourself are they based in His truth?

“...we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” - 2 Corinthians 10:5 (NIV)

Taking our thoughts 'captive to Him' is a beautiful starting point for opening up your mind in faith to see just how limitless He really is and how very much He loves you.

He’s waiting to work in your life - to guide, to provide, to comfort, to bless - He’s waiting for you to seek Him first, and seeking Him first starts in your thought life.

Praise His name today, because God continues to love you, as He will continue to do for all of eternity.

God’s love is always present and always endures, no matter what. No matter what you are facing or what circumstances you may be experiencing, you can be truly confident at that moment that God’s steadfast love is with you.

There is never a wrong time to praise God for who He is and for His steadfast love.

"Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. His love endures forever.
Give thanks to the God of gods. His love endures forever.
Give thanks to the Lord of lords: His love endures forever." Psalm 136

Whatever you are going through today, whether it is an incredibly difficult time in your life, or whether you have been blessed by God’s provision and protection, you can cling to this truth, His love for you will never change. Take a deep breath and give thanks to our Heavenly Father.

In the Bible God tells us over and over to “Fear

In the Bible God tells us over and over to “Fear not.” So how do we live with courage? How do we stop fear from creeping in?

The best source of comfort and peace when faced with uncertain and scary situations is knowing God is right there with you. He promises to never leave.

For those who believe in God courage and strength comes from trusting Him completely, believing that He will “work all things out for good for those who love him.” (Romans 8:2), and then reminding ourselves of His promises.

"Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you." (Isaiah 43:1-2)

Take rest in the eternal and unconditional love of God, turn your heart towards him and when you are afraid pray to Him and He will be there for you. Prayer will draw you closer to Him as you trust Him more and more with your heart. And God will take up the space fear once occupied.

God is greater than everything in this world, He created you and and gave you a powerful and loving spirit. Turn to Him and there will be nothing to fear.

So how does your life change when you accept Jesus as your Lord?

One of the greatest blessings of choosing to follow Jesus is being able to rest in God’s unconditional love. You no longer need to prove yourself or feel unworthy. God loves you and He is FOR you! You find your identity in who God says you are.

“This I KNOW: God is for me.” Psalm 56:9

When you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, the gift of Holy Spirit is given you. You now have God’s power living in you. The Holy Spirit helps you have faith and compassion. It convicts you of right and wrong and gives you the power to resist temptation and make choices to glorify God.

As you continue to pray to God, spend time in His Word, and turn your heart towards God, the more you will desire to serve God with your life.

You will be filled with such joy and peace. Your heart will be overwhelmed by what God has done for you and you will desire to live for Jesus.

The trustworthy, faithful, miracle-working God of scripture is the same God Who holds you in the palm of His hand today and forever.⠀

Throughout the Word, God promises to never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5), says He will be with us through all of life’s troubles (Joshua 1:9), assures us He will hear our prayers (Isaiah 65:24) and promises He will lead and guide us (Psalm 32:8, James 1:5) even through the desert seasons. These are promises we can stand on, promises which can enable us to praise God even when life is hard.⠀

I don’t know what challenges this season may have brought for you but I do know the character of the God Who is with you in the midst of it. I know He has you, I know He loves you, and I know He will grow you through it! Take heart, friend, and keep your eyes fixed on Him.⠀

His kindness is immeasurable.

If we were to begin to make a list of all the ways He’s shown us kindness, our list would never end. Sometimes in our lives we forget to notice isn't our human world so full of distractions.

He’s not going to force His kindness upon us. He whispers to your heart often but doesn’t turn off your phone or your TV so you will hear. Because He is kind, He gives us choice. So why not choose kindness today?

Where has He lifted your heart when you were down, where have you being shown compassion when you thought you deserved less? When has another person shown you a kindness? When we are kind to one another we are living as God intended and honoring the compassion and forgiveness shown to us by Jesus.

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” Ephesians 4:32

God wants you become the person He made you to be, living your best life for the display His love and glory.

You are significant, unique and have a special calling on your life
which only you can fulfill.

"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the
renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what
God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will." Romans 12:2 NIV

No one person’s calling is more important than another’s. It is important for us to discover and walk in our true God given purpose if we are to know the fullness of God’s freedom and experience His unfathomable love in our lives.

Today, many people are living in spiritual slavery without realizing it. They chase false gods of money, success and personal comfort—only to realize they still have an emptiness that can’t be filled by any of those things. We will never find fulfillment in comparing ourselves with others or trying to be like them or to have and own all of the material things we are told we should possess.

But the best news ever, is that faith in Jesus frees us.

In seeing ourselves through the eyes of God, and turning to him with humility and honesty we can be saved. We can live a life that is full of truth and purpose and we are made spiritually free in our faith.
