    Team Project Inspired
We here at Project Inspired want to guide and inspire teen girls to be true to themselves and to God. We want to show young girls how to be people of value and confidence – how to be your own best selves – through leading a Christian life. Who are we? We're a team of girls, like you. We edit the site, we post to social media, we hang out in the chat rooms and forums. We talk with you, we listen to you, and we love you!

    1. I love the YouVersion on my phone! I have so many different translations of the Bible at my fingertips, all for free!
I also have the Bible Gateway app that I use when I want to listen to the Bible.

    2. I prefer my study Bible over almost anything. However, I love talking about the Bible with my youth group. We can dive deeper and understand all of our different opinions. When we are all connected and on the right track, we can discover so much about God! A study Bible may be AMAZING for alone time, but by hearing others’ ideas and sharing my own (along with bringing up certain points my study Bible points out), I learn so much more than I ever could on my own!!!! 😀

    3. I simply cannot get through a day without reading the Bible for guidance and to get things into perspective. I really try to make time for meditating on God’s Word in the morning as well as in the evening. But if it’s a really hectic day, I still make sure to make time for it in between even just briefly.

    4. There is this app I use that I LOVE (It’s called Olive Tree, btw). I use it all the time to study and highlight and make notes because even though I really never have my Bible with me all the time, I almost always have my phone.
I do use my regular Bible, though lol. I don’t read it as much as I should, but I still like to read it.

    5. I love reading the Bible! It is soo much fun, and I always find something to fit my needs whenever I read it! Right now, I am taking an online college class called New Testament Survey. In this class, I am required to read the whole New Testament, and in the class, we study about what life was like in Jesus’ day and in the day other books of the NT were written! I am really excited about this class, because I know I am going to learn soo much more about the Bible and the New Testament!

    6. I read my Bible at least twice a day, in the morning and at night. I used to just read it at night before bed, but earlier this year I began feeling like it wasn’t enough.. so finally I put it into my routine to read a devotional and a portion of Scripture in the morning.
Currently, my boyfriend and I are reading through Acts and Ezekiel. He’s been going through the NT on his own and I joined him, and he joined me in reading Ezekiel. I read a chapter of Ezekiel in the morning, and a chapter of Acts at night. We’ve been doing the Essential Connection daily devotionals, which I’ve been mailing to him every month since we’re in a long distance relationship.
As for when I’m feeling down, the book of Psalms is where I’ll find myself reading the most.

    7. I try to read my Bible every morning before I start the rest of my day, and before I go to sleep! I believe it is important for me to give God the first and last of my day! Not to mention I pray throughout the day about whatever comes up!

      • Don’t give up asking! If they still won’t let you, try watching some online services and consider joining FCA/FCS at your school. (The Christian group.) Also, pray that God changes your parents’ hearts to be SOFTENED and allow you to go to church. In Jesus’ Name! 🙂

    8. My friend gave me a bible when I was younger and I read it every day and I want to go to church with her so badly. I have faith in God. The only problem is that my parents aren’t allowed to go to her church because they are gay. I don’t know what to do. I don’t want my parents to go to hell and I want to be a Christian. Is that possible for me?

      • Your parents won’t go to hell. God loves everyone, and created man in his image. I don’t understand why some churches are against gays when God loves all, and has already created a plan for each of us. It’s possible for you all to be Christians together!!!! God loves ALL. If all the churches near you won’t allow it then watch some online services, or ones on TV.

        • @Kandace I know I’m replying late but I’d like to comment on what you said because it made me sad. You said that her parents would go to heaven and not hell but I’m sorry you can’t say that. That’s not to say that they cant go to heaven its that unless they are saved they cant. You and I don’t know if they’re saved only God can know that. I would like to ask you to please, please, please don’t promise people something that could not be true. Thank you for trying to create peace for her but please be mindful of what you say. :/

      • I’m not going to sugar coat it. I know you love your parents and like you said, you don’t want them to go to hell. But one thing you do need to be aware of is that unless they are saved, they will go to hell. But it’s not because they’re Gay, it’s because they’re not saved.
At a Bible study we talked about this type of thing. If you parents are gay, that’s fine. God loves them anyways. But what God doesn’t like is when people act upon those feelings. Having a certain feeling isn’t sinful, but acting upon it is.
I’ll be praying for you and your family!

    9. I like to read commentaries on the bible- it’s so interesting that you never know it, you’ve already read the whole book! I think that’s one way to read the bible and keep encouraged. ^_^

    10. I like using the app Word on Fire, which gives you a Scripture and then a video podcast to explain the message. It’s very good for reading plans and to help you understand the Scripture! I greatly recommend it. 🙂

    11. I like to do all the above when it comes to alternate ways to read the bible. I used a variety of ways. I listen to my pastors sermons in The Chapel app I have. I also follow many amazing Christian accounts on Instagram that post daily verses, prayers, and devotions. I have many inspiring resourses.

    12. I really love reading my 365 day daily devotional. Each day has a page with a lesson on it and you read a page everyday for 365 days. It includes different scriptures and lessons about everyday life . Then I like to fill out my Bible Study Workbook called “Girls of Grace” and it really makes you think about what your reading and interprets the scripture into everyday life.

    13. Normally in my own Bible time, I just read the passage. I don’t do much for application based stuff; I prefer being with others to do that. An option I was surprised wasn’t there on the second question, when we read the Bible, was that I actually like to read the Bible whenever I get time. Sure, my dad has one specific time that we read the Bible together (me and my brothers), but I like to read on my own throughout the school day.

    14. I try to read a chapter every morning, sometimes more. Then I reread the chapter to get a deeper meaning and understanding.I read on my kindle, so it’s easy for me to look up words I don’t understand and to write notes.

    15. I’ve always been pretty inconsistent with my bible reading habits, but recently I’ve started using a phone app that reminds me to read a little bit each day at 1:00pm. It hasn’t worked completely, but I read my bible way more now than I did before the app.

    16. I dont read my bible as often as i know i should iam more the type who can talk about God i love to talk about God i can stay on that topic all day .. Talking about the lord geta me excited.

    17. I read the bible using The Bible App. And the schedule I use causes for me to read the bible every day. I read my bible using my #littlefaithhbook schedule. It’s really cool. If you’re interested or ever want to know more there is a website of christian girls like this at: http://littlefaithblog.weebly.com. It made my Top list. PI is my first snd Little Faith is my 2nd.

      • The King James Version is the only true version of the Bible. All the other versions add or take away the scriptures. I know this because I own both a new imternational version as well as 10 king James versions. Although the other versions seem easier to comprehend you’ll get used to reading the KJV.

    18. I recently reaffirmed my Baptism, from there I decided to continue my commitment with God and Jesus to start reading from the Bible each day. I use the Biblestudytools.com for my reading plan. I have a plan set for 365 days. Before this, I never read my Bible any which way. I’d read once in a while or go on a reading binge here and there.

As for when I read my Bible, I tend to read in the mornings. I set out three different types of Bibles and a journal for my thoughts, prayers, verses, and etc. The first one I read through is a basic NLV or a New Living Translation. The second is my Girls Life Application Bible, (in the same translation) so I can see an everyday application for girls. Last but not least, I have the Life Application Study Bible in NIV (New International Version.)

Lastly, I do have a few different ways of reading the Bible. I have this site, and then I have joined The Pinky Promise Movement group. Then I also have supplementary books as well.

    19. LOL I have a ritual
I’m currently reading the whole New Testament, so I read ten chapters in there in order
Then I divide how much of the current Gospel I’m in like 3-5 chapters a day to finish in a week
Then I read whatever left I have in the Old Testament to equal 15 chapters
      This is subject to change

    20. Each night before I go to bed and every morning I do a devotion. I read one chapter of the bible a day, and currently reading Proverbs. I also journal and write a letter to my future husband every week! 🙂

    21. I dedicate time out of every night to spend with God, whether that means I’m reading my Bible, writing, praying, etc.. It’s a necessity for me, now; I need to spend time with God every single day, even if it’s not much.

    22. A saying at my church is “Bible before breakfast” so I always try and read before I eat or do anything in the mornings. And when I don’t read it, I’ll listen to Brian Hardin or watch old archived videos from my church :>
