What does it mean to have faith?
We are all challenged in one way or another. Some challenges are harder or seem harder than others. And as we suffer in the midst of each struggle, how do we look to faith? How do we believe that there is a Creator, let alone have faith that He loves us?
Take a look at the following clip.
Maybe one of these scenarios applies to you now or in the past. Or maybe none do, but you can relate in some way. All the challenges are different, but they are the same in that they can create doubt in the minds of the faithful. However, they are also all the same because Christ is bigger than all of them. And each situation can be resolved with faith. True faith can crush the obstacles that come our way.
Ladies, always remember two these really important verses in scripture:
“There hath no temptation taken you but such as man can bear: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation make also the way of escape, that ye may be able to endure it.” (1 Corinthians 10:13)
“I know how to get along with humble means, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need. I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:12-13)
You will likely be challenged in life, but never forget that God is your way out. God is “the way of escape” and God is your strength. Call out to Him. He really wants you to.
Ladies, how did this clip make you feel? Do you have faith even in times of pure doubt, pain and suffering?

hey first comment! 🙂
I’m shouldn’t be so messed up. I have both parents and they don’t fight. I have my animals, I have a couple somewhat-friends. But I still cut myself. Not very often or deep, but it happens. I have it good, yet I feel like I need to do it. It makes me feel guilty, because I don’t have it bad at all. That guilt just makes me want to cut as self punishment.
one of my old friends used to be a cutter, but its normal to feel like this. just pray to god every day and see what happens
what is the song called that is playing in the background and who is it by? 🙂
Wow this video is amazing. It truly shows just how much we need God in our lives. And Connie jean. First of all just because you cut doesn’t make you a “cutter” I personally hate that term. I know because I’ve dealt with self harm, depression and an eating disorder for years and I’m in recovery right now 🙂 and I felt the same way I have both parents and at the time I only had a very few friends. But You shouldn’t punish yourself though no matter how bad you feel about being blessed. I know it’s a hard thing to understand and it’s really hard to stop I’m also really sorry for rambling. I just want you to know that I’m here if you need anyone to talk to and keep praying and seeking The Lord and he will comfort you.
Thanks. 🙂
Amazing I’m so speechless 🙂
this really helped me. 🙂
This video is so inspiring especially in a world when girls are faced with so many obstacles and struggles. The enemy wants us to think that we are the only ones with the problem and no one can relate. I liked how this video gave the sense that there are many that struggle with personal issues. I’ve never struggled with these but I’ve had my own page long list of issues,
A couple of good books that helped was “Princess Unaware” by Brenda Garrison
and “Girls with Swords” by Lisa Bevere
wow is all I can say. The video is so inspiring. I also have realized the little things I stress over are so little compared to those.
