Why Should You Pray…Throughout the Day…Every Day?

Ladies, not only is prayer a way to make your requests to God, but also it’s an opportunity to thank Him for His amazing and abundant blessings. But more than that, prayer is our connection to God. It’s a conversation with Him. And I believe that we should have an on-going conversation with God…He is always with us, after all!!! What do you think?

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7).

Check out this great video about why we should pray every single day:

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours (Mark 11:24).

Ladies, how often do you pray?

    1. beautiful video and beautiful verse! ^_^
I used to pray everyday a lot
now i just pray for my food and sometimes before going to bed or when im really in need of something.
I dont really know what happened, but lately i have been forgetting to thank God for the things he has done for me 🙁
Thats why i challenged my self to pray this week as much as I could and thank for ALL the things in my life not just to ask him for help when needed 🙂

    2. Well i started to pray daily a couple weeks but then i just started to have questions about what i believe all because God was taking to long for answering my prayers…and all because i cant see him too…but watching this video helps a little…

      • Most of the time, God won’t answer prayers in the ways we think He will or even in the amount of time we’d like for them to be answered. I’ve prayed before for certain things, but He’s answered them in ways that I really didn’t expect. Sometimes I haven’t even seen that He answered my prayers until I looked back weeks or even years later. He works in His own time and, if you think about it, it’s almost silly to expect Him to answer our prayers in the amount of time we’d like. He knows best, right? There are other times when He won’t answer our prayers because they simply aren’t His will and it’s not up to us to say that we know what would work the best in whatever situation.

    3. Interesting video 🙂 I pray all day everyday like crazy. I don’t pray for my food though until I eat then I pray opps…I always get so exited to eat and forget to pray I have to try to pray before.

    4. I pray all the time. For me its my way of survival. I am an extremely anxious person by nature (I have panic disorder and OCD) but when I started praying I was able to get off all my medications, now I keep it up. I also recently went through a trauma that most people would be completely ruined by, and although I am upset by it all, I am extremely thankful that I have Jesus to run to when I feel like the weight of the world is on my shoulders.
